Reo Coker has a lot to prove yet, but possibly will be there. Joe Cole is the kind of player that i can see being there still in 2010. Rooney... well will Rooney turn into another Owen, injury problems and lack of pace after youth may see Rooney wither away like Owen. Walcott has every chance of being there, but he isnt exactly setting the world alight is he ? It's a shame we have no Kerry Dixon, Alan Shearer or Gary Lineker around these days.

Terry Venables is as much to blame as McClaren and the players. Where the hell was he for the first half, i never see him talking to McClaren once during the game. . He sneaks out of the back door with no comebacks as McClaren will have to take ALL the flack ! I started this thread before Saturdays romp at the Bridge. But it only just goes to strengthen my argument that our attack is nowhere near the mark without Drogba and Lampard. Lets hope that these 2 go on and have great seasons, only then will the powers up top realise how crap we are without them.

Yeah Sinclair is very handy indeed, but where on that list is the creativity going to come from ? Who are going to be our goal poachers without Drogba and Lampard ? We need a Crespo to partner Drogba, we also need creativity in midfield, of which at present we have VERY little of !

Our attack so far this season can only be described as 'blunt' ! Without Drogba and Lampard we looked like Hereford Utd.
