He's actually a good player with apparently a terrible attitude. Certainly good enough to be a backup.

I know the comments aren't promising but he could be their Mikel for all we know. Might turn out to be a good player and he still has room to improve at his age.

Well the reaction over on the Fiorentina forum to the 25m bid was a lot of laughter followed by comments such as donkey, slow, can't defend etc, but to be fair there were also this comment: I think the best we should hope for is that he turns out to be a solid backup for Azpi who can also play CB in case of an emergency. 25m seems too much but at this stage that is to be expected and if we finally get a defender, I won't be complaining about the price.

Had a read of some Fiorentina fans' views on him. Let's just say they were not very promising. Oh well, he's still (reasonably) young.

Sorry if I've missed them but can you point out the posts where people are moaning about us not slashing silly money on defenders? What I have seen are posts expressing concern that our defense is actually weaker than last season with 5 days left in the window.

Conte says its looking very difficult at this point to obtain our targets. What the hell is he worried about? Clearly we need just one defender and we've shown how good we are at pulling off these late window signings.

Haha. I like Michy but it's way too soon to judge how good of a striker he is.

Not really sure about Stones. Seemed almost like it was the other three doing all the defending and Stones' job was just to pass the ball forward.

He is just a brilliant attacking midfielder, can do just about everything. I'd say his best attribute is his technique when striking a ball whether it be a pass, cross or a shot. Would be a dream signing.

If Cuadrado does well this season, some people are going to look really silly. Of course I already look silly having said last season that he would be a good signing.
