Chelsea v Liverpool (FA Cup Final) 05/05/12 KO 17:15 BST
As happy as I am with the lead, it's been a rubbish game so far. Liverpool have had plenty possession but look clueless about what to do with it. I hope we get the 2nd goal asap to give us a cushion and hopefully kill them off.

Comfortable so far for Chelsea I think. Mata is running the show and is finding himself in lots of space time and again.

Ryan Giggs dirty little git.....
Isn't it a bit hypocritical to complain about the coverage Cole & Terry got and to then hope Giggs gets the same treatment? I get the point that you want consistency in reporting, but you can't have it both ways. You can't be in favour of Chelsea players' privacy being respected and then saying it's ok when a United player is involved.

Manchester United v Chelsea (PL) 08/05/11 KO 16:10 BST
That came from Ramires whipping it in from wide, and he isn't a winger. Can someone now tell Malouda to f***ing stay out wide and get crosses in. Well played Alex just there.

Well at least we scored with time for more

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur (PL) 30/04/11 KO 17:30 BST
Seems early on in the 2nd half that the ref is trying to make up for the terrible decision on the goal by giving Spurs some dodgy free kicks. On a brighter note I think Torres has looked good today.

Ah but something like that requires common sense. Something football authorities severely lack.

Terry & Bridge
I thought the booing last year was a bit unfair to him. But the fact that he didn't shake hands again was pathetic and he deserved the booing today. The fact is Terry was alleged to have had an affair with his ex, she wasn't with Bridge at the time. The only "victim" was Terry's missus.

I was worried until I saw it was The Guardian.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
No point getting worked up over United's results. All we can do is win our remaining games and if it's good enough, great. If not, then we can look back at the 2 months without winning and say that's where we lost it, rather than looking at United's games at the end of the season.

Man United v Chelsea (CL) 12/04/11 KO 19:45 BST
First off fair play to United, thoroughly deserved their win over the 2 legs. The key thing throughout both games, and I said it at half time, is United players had options on the ball. They had players presenting themselves in good positions looking for a pass. When their full backs had the ball they had a man in front of them looking for it. We didn't. Malouda & Anelka drove me bonkers with the amount of times they were standing in the centre of the pitch when our full backs had the ball with no one to pass to. Some will say we would have won if Drogba started, and maybe we would have. But there's 2 problems with that. Lately Drogba has played better coming off the bench than he has starting. He doesn't seem to be as up for it when he starts as he does coming off the bench. So there's no guarantee that he would have played well from the off. Secondly, in terms of general play nothing changed when Drogba came on. Nearly all his chances were created by him. It became a case of just get it to Drogba any way we can and leave the rest to him. Torres isn't that kind of player and his poor performance tonight wasn't helped by the s**t service he got from the rest of the team. Where we go from here I don't know. Surely it's nearing the of the line for some of this team. And with the new financial regulations coming in there's also the question of where are the replacements going to come from? I would say the youth team but this was supposed to be a season where we were going to integrate some of them into the team and look how that turned out. I dunno what's going to happen. It does feel a but strange being in April with no silverware left to play for.

Carlo: should he go or should he stay? (merged)
I wouldn't sack him, but if I were Carlo I'd probably walk in the summer unless I was allowed to make major changes to the squad.

Someone needs to grab Malouda and bloody tell him to stay out wide. There's acres of space out left but every time Cole gets it there's no-one in front of him to pass to. Same with Anelka on the other side. Ramires is the only one who's playing good enough right now.

Man United v Chelsea (CL) 12/04/11 KO 19:45 BST
That goal was coming. United are playing like a team. When they have the ball they have options to pass to, particularly out wide. We have the ball and look clueless with it. Malouda and Anelka are all over the place. Everywhere except where they should be.

Defending corners and set pieces
My preference for defending set pieces would be to man mark all opposition players first and foremost. Everything else depends on how many opposition players there are to deal with. Ideally, we'd have a man on each post, Drogba to just attack the ball, and at least 1 pacey player to clear towards. I remember Jose liked to leave 2 players forward when defending corners. It kept opposition defenders on their toes.

Pissed off about the penalty, but more so about the performance. We were pathetic. The players looked like they never played with each other before. It's not over but if we don't pick it up big time we'll be out.

Mikel for Bosingwa? What is he at? We need creativity and Benayoun is sitting on the bench. FFS.
