bridge should just get over it...he's not exactly a saint

But he IS a twat...I'm quite proud of the fans for booing him to be honest. It's not often you see ex-players get booed when they come back to play against us, but his melodrama in the fixture last year definitely warranted it imo.

Seconded.

Bridge has acted like a tw*t and allowed the media to manipulate the situation to the detriment of our club, he deserves all the booing he now gets.

I thought the booing last year was a bit unfair to him. But the fact that he didn't shake hands again was pathetic and he deserved the booing today.

The fact is Terry was alleged to have had an affair with his ex, she wasn't with Bridge at the time. The only "victim" was Terry's missus.

Bridge just keeps climbing higher and higher on my list of players I hate the most. He might just have surpassed Hunt and Gerrard.

Next time we play against him I hope JT breaks his f*cking legs.

Agreed. Last year it may have been harsh... Key word: "may"

To do the same sh*te now? F him. He just wants the attention.

Eloquent and seconded. I wish JT would just knock this fool out. The tw*t is acting like a child.

It's in the past,i dont like personal reasons such as this coming into football matches i think there is no room for it. If bridge feels the whole thing had some truth to it then fair enough i dont blame the guy for not shaking his hand but seriously who cares? It's football not eastenders.

He gave his best for our club when he was here and i cheered him for that, im not gonna boo the guy because of stories in tabloids. Im gonna boo the guy because he plays for west ham.

This says it all! Brilliant summary of the non-story! ::clap2::

Chelsea fans want to stick up for their own - whether it be on the football pitch or in Eastenders. Every Chelsea fan is behind JT as a player, they have every right to show Wayne Bridge what they think of his behaviour. So yes, he got booed, if it makes anyone feel more civilised that it was because he played for West Ham then that's their prerogative.

Terry probably got to say to bridge,"no hard feelings bridgey, but ill probably of retired by the time you spammers get promoted again, yipppee ki yay mofo

f**k Bridge.

if this thread leads to another discussion about the alledged affair, then can i be first to say that vanessa denied it happened in a newspaper.

i'll boo bridge if i pay for my ticket.

Didn't she leave him in the first place because he cheated on her?

Why didn't Wayne Bridge's hand yesterday? Is he really that much of a self-pitying hypocrite that he bears a grudge despite denials and subsequent media retractions? Or does he simply remember how much his actions hurt and unsettled JT before last season's game at home to Man City and hoped to similarly unsettle JT before the game against West Ham?

Either way, the man's a lowlife c**t and has long outworn any lingering feelings of affection or sense of gratitude for anything he might have achieved while wearing a Chelsea shirt.

f**k Wayne Bridge.

Look if JT would of done that to me I would of busted his face open, I wouldnt want to shake JT's hand because of the fear of using my other hand to grab his balls and squeeze his bollocks until his eyes popped out, full of respect for JT on the pitch as a player and captain, and I respect the way Bridge refuses to shake and make up, dont blame him.

Here we go again.

Media mythology: JT screwed Wayne Bridge's wife

Reality: JT is alleged to have had an affair with Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend, an affair which was never proven, and which was denied by both parties. Certain newspapers actually printed apologies.

Not that any of this matters. The roller coaster media campaign ensured that the image that stays in the public's mind is one of a poor hard done by Wayne Bridge. That prick who signed on to have a go during the West Ham game mentioned Wayne Bridge's wife.

So let me get this straight: You'd want to use "your other hand to grab his balls and squeeze his bollocks until his eyes popped out" if one of your mates was rumoured to have had an affair with your ex-girlfirend? Even though your ex-girlfriend denied any affair ever took place?

And you wouldn't speak to that mate to listen to his possible denials or explanations, but would take as gospel every single word spread about by malicious rumour mongers?

As Hutch says - here we go again. For those of you still interested in this dreary old gossip[, there is an old thread which says everything (and more) than needs to be said.

Sometimes I'm not sure if your posts are sarcastic or sincere... hope that one is sincere ::clap2::
