That save was fantastic but I went for Juan. Great game, great season. Now he was a good buy.

Yeh, not sure anyone excelled today but gave it to Mata. He's always working and trying to be creative. Not sure how he missed that one in the first half though.

Cahill. The above average amongst the distinctly average.

Completely brilliant. The team haven't bought tears to my eyes (for the right reasons) in a long time. Top notch performance, felt like they all believed in it and wanted it. Keep it up boys!

I think it comes down to Drogba, Luiz and Terry today. Really excellent performances. But in the end I voted with my heart for one bloody brilliant Captain.

Think the vote is a bit flattering to Torres, though he did have a good game. Agree Mata got tired towards the end but still think he was overall the best player for us and seemed to get everywhere.

Not sure we can really call that a MOTM performance from Torres. But his hitting the woodwork did really energise the players and the crowd but then nothing to show for it. I thought Meireles was very good for most of the match (some poor shots aside) and was putting 100% in the whole match so I gave it to him.

A lot of deserving play today. I actually went for JT as there was some really good play from him at the back and as full of heart as ever. Sturridge in second, some of his moves were sublime.

2 assists and a goal does stand-out but I think there was more to Mata's performance to make him deserve it. He was everywhere and always full of energy. It was good to see him bounce back after a pretty weak performance midweek. Sturridge second.

Lots of very strong performances today, very happy with that. Mata as MOTM with Sturridge second I think. But some great stuff from Romeu and others. Thought Ivan had a very good first half and Luiz was solid. Torres' ten minutes looked great and it was good to hear people calling for him to come on.

We did not play well. We deserved a draw but we did not play well. And I agree with those who've questioned the subs, having Mata, Luiz and Miereles come off to be replaced by Malouda, Alex and Mikel hardly fills me with excitement. We're in a bad place mentally like we were for periods last year and we need to fix that. I don't think we should get rid of AVB but has he really bonded with the players? I felt like there was more emotion for Carlo than there is for him, but perhaps that's early days.

Went for Mata but nobody deserves it.

Very pleased with that despite playing middling opponents. Great to see Torres firing again despite the gap and Luiz is quality. The team really feels like it's gelling and I'm back to thinking we'll be pushing all the way for the title this year. Couple of bits of deadwood we could lose though.

Yes think it has to be Ramires. Torres is on the way back and glad to see him scoring but not sure how he's got 2 votes for MoTM with that red card!

Happy with that and I agree with the people who say Torres looks like he's back. Good that last week's miss didn't stop him scoring. We've got to sort out defence though, we need more clean sheets than this. Not sure we've got the right people back there, Luiz should be playing more and Bosingwa less. I'm getting more excited about this season now though.

Was going to go for Mata but think JT in the end. He seemed to be everywhere and that goal did make me smile. Very disappointed not to have had a clean sheet out of that though

Not a bad result. Good second half and much happier with Torres. Kalou and Malouda were lousy, as people have said. But I did think we started poorly, some very bad passing before we got our act together.
