Ramires. I thought Mikel, Meireles, Mata & Torres (before he did that) played very well.

Even without the goals it still would easily have been Ramires. Good shout for Ashley Cole too, our two fittest players were always going to be key today when playing with 10 men for so long.

Have no doubts some people will do their duty and vote for Mikel though...

You wouldn't believe it if I told you, but.......

And no it wasn't me. I too went for Ramires

Yep. Ramires for me too.

I think someone here not so long ago wrote that he wasn't Chelsea quality or some such crap. I'll just say I disagree. Strongly.

I mentioned it in the match thread, I can remember someone saying all he does is run around like a headless chicken and has no skill or passing ability. Ho Hum...

I went with Mikel. He was, together with Ramires, the two best players today. Ramires scored two goals so I knew people would vote for him. Mikel was superb defensively (and put in a few nice passes offensively as well), so I wanted him to get atleast one vote.

He's been our best midfielder for a while now, but I still think he needs to improve his shooting. Ironic to say when he scored twice, but missed some great chances these last two games. Love his work rate though.

I went for Mikel, his composure and stength on the ball today was brilliant. Saved us with a few interceptions and convered back exellently. I think the shape of our team goes to sh*ts when he isnt playing.

Ramires for me as well, He's surely got to be the first name on the teamsheet in midfield.

Along with JT and Cech, he is the first name on the teamsheet, full stop.

Ramires is a legend in the making. He is an absolutely superb footballer. Forget the two goals, he was the best player on the park by a mile.

It wasn't long ago people were moaning he wasn't Xavi.

It takes more than one type of player to make a team.

He would be in my team all day long.

He gets better and better.

God love him.

3 cheers for bloody Ramires for me. Unlucky he didn't get his hat-trick - worked his ass off, and took his goals brilliantly.

Honourable mention for Ash who had his best game of the season.

I think he thought about it, the hat-trick, when he was through on goal near the end

Mmmm, I'm not convinced by Ramires to be honest. He often lacks composure, and his technique leaves something to be desired. He's an athlete and a worker, no doubt, but he's not smart, footbaling wise IMO.

such a poor troll

Bet you would love to have him in your team though?.. :0)

Went for Ramires, would have voted for Torres if he would have kept one of his bloody feet back (great goal, and great motion to start Coles run for the second). Ramires though is a real workhorse on the pitch, and if he could just improve his decision making a bit, he would be even better (he seems to over-commit at times, I think he needs more composure with the ball).

Ramires was absolutely incredible today. He was everywhere, and he was a proper box-to-box player today, on the edge of his own penalty area one second, then sprinting up field to score his first. Sensational performance. Fast becoming one of my favourite current player.
