There are hotdog sellers on nearly every street corner in the centre! We just wanted to get away somewhere.....somewhere cheap with a high calibre of women. Zagreb fitted the bill! I was there for three nights and went to Greengold on the first night (good but felt a little soulless with the escalators....as if you were in a shopping centre rather than a bar/club), Peppermint on the second (good and right near where I was staying).....and for New Year....aaahhh, can't remember the name. I'll get back to you. The beer/wine tent in the main square was good too. Also went to Boban's in the day but didn't see the man himself. I was expecting him to be pulling pints.

I've got more: Lampard is a good player. Scores a lot for a midfielder. We'd be mad to let him go. Shame Drobga has gone to Galatasaray. We could really have done with him recently.

Yup.....also....with the role model thing.....why is it only them who have to be a role model to youngsters? People say that youngsters look up to them, idolise them and want to be like them....but that is also the case with musicians.....and they're almost expected to mis-behave. If Ronnie Wood gets mullered on a cocktail of booze and drugs.....then humps a young model who is younger than some of his liver spots.....then falls out of a window....it is merely seen as his latest sex, drugs and rock'n'roll escapade. Yet if a footballer did it they'd be lambasted. You're right with the money thing too. No one seems to begrudge the likes of Tim Henman who is now a millionaire after winning precisely zilch tennis grand slams in his career. Why was he never described as 'over paid'?

In his defence, it was only in his last season when I think they finished 7th. They finished 2nd the season before which they're nowhere near now. I think he built some pretty solid Liverpool sides to be fair to him. 2005 when they beat us in Europe they were average......but 07, 08 and 09 were good teams in my opinion. Certainly hard to beat in big games.
