The headhunters?
Yeah I guess. Chelsea, Millwall, West Ham, Stoke, Newcastle, Luton etc. Right, I see what you mean. Yeah, a lot of Ireland fans have made me laugh in the past with their "hate England.....hate England.....I f***ing hate England." Then....."Which team do you support?" "Manchester United".

Eden v Ballboy
The sh*t for brains callers on TalkSport are comparing it to Cantona's kung fu kick. Unreal. Hazard was trying to kick the ball out from underneath his body.....Cantona ran into the crowd and kung fu kicked a fan.

The headhunters?
I don't know for sure but I'm guessing the clubs with links to British loyalist movements. Why do you say Ireland fans are hypocrites?

The Next Chelsea Statue ?
Drogba deserves one. Does anyone remember that truly awful monstrosity of a statue outside the hotel round the other side of the ground? Outside what is now Frankie's and Marco's? It was of some fans if I remember correctly. A couple of men and a kid. A real eye sore.

Not really Moi. I said it in jest for comedic effect. I have no idea about the state of his plums.

You're underestimating the elasticity of his wrinkly old bollocks. They're like the oldest chicken in Sainsbury's or a pensioner's elbow.

Top 4 or 3 trophies?
All three trophies without a doubt. 2 Wembley victories and a jaunt to Amsterdam sounds good to me.

Managers - what makes a good one?
Knowing how to treat different players is important. Some players respond to a b0llocking.....whereas others respond better to encouragement.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
Apart from those two bursts, he did very little. Ba looked more threatening immediately after coming on......just as he did against Swansea in the League Cup. Ba has to start in the 2nd leg on Wednesday.

The Frank Lampard goal scoring record thread
8 to beat the record. It'll be difficult but he can do it. Regarding his pens, they're pretty good but I'd put Lebeouf and Graham Roberts slightly above him for them.

Nice one. Particularly if it was penetrating your sh*t box.

Yeah that works strangely (the first one at least.....is that Liverpool one real? That mutant has got some proper TB going on - Tits on Belly).

Christ! Mata's beard would look like a used toothbrush after finishing with you!

Grown men in football shirts
Same as people who flash and get naked all the time. Always the people you least want to see naked. Like at my work Christmas party......this guy who is otherwise a mute in the office all year round......got drunk and decided to get his balls out. He stood up, whipped em out.....and moulded them into some sort of flesh pattie. Really disturbing. Why does that happen but the busty secretary you've been eyeing up all year not get her milkers out?

Grown men in football shirts
Ha ha....maybe that is what it is. A fat bloke in the East Lower reckons he may get a game? "Oi you.....the one with Balti Pie and Singha down your replica shirt......start warming up.....you're on for Mata in 5 minutes!"

Grown men in football shirts
Ha ha...absolutely. What about the people that, whilst on holiday, pop down to the supermarket in nothing but their swimming costume.....and also eat up at the dinner table in it too. I find that mental. You wouldn't go to Sainsbury's or The Ivy in your Speedos back home, so why on holiday?

Grown men in football shirts
Right, ok. Yes, I have a few reasons why I wouldn't personally wear one.....not just one. I think a) they look sh*te (particularly as you get 'more distinguished' and your figure becomes 'fuller') b) you're drawing unnecessary attention to yourself in the street c) I find it rather depressing going to a game now and seeing the vast majority of the crowd in the same replica top. It feels somewhat sanitised. The terraces used to be a place where people paraded their best threads. No.....I'm saying I think they're fine on kids.....and young adults......but that as you get a bit older, I don't think they're a particularly great look (I have to reiterate, I don't think these people 'shouldn't wear them'.....it's their decision.....like it is the right of an old rocker to continue to wear his Megadeath t-shirt and sport a grey mullet. I won't highlight this point again as I feel I have made myself clear in this respect. Ha ha). No, I am 30....but I stopped wearing them at about 21-22. I'm unlikely to change my mind as I get older but hey, you never know.

Grown men in football shirts
Eh? It's not an argument. It's just my opinion that a) they look sh*t on ageing fat people (in particular...although I don't think they're a great look on any adult to be honest)....much like a think a 60-year-old woman would look better in a longer skirt than a miniskirt and b) you're drawing attention to yourself.....yes, regardless of your age, shape or size (although you'd like to think children should be spared abuse).

They also draw attention as well don't they? You're sort of making yourself a target for potential abuse. Running the risk of having "You Chelsea rent boy cant!" shouted at you by a passing White Van Man.

Rafa Benitez Appreciation Thread
Yeah, I guess you're right in that respect. Discontent only started after chucking a 2 goal lead away. I've heard the poor home form being put down to a poisonous atmosphere but there was virtually no atmosphere for the entirety of the first half. It was as flat as a pancake. The players can't use that excuse for sloppy defending.

Grown men in football shirts
I agree.....people should wear what they want. Never said anything different. Just that in my own opinion it looks sh*t.....up to them if they want to wear it though (just like it is up to them if they want to listen to Michael Buble for example). I wanted to know other people's opinions on the matter.

Rafa Benitez Appreciation Thread
I did say "If you don't like the football he serves up then I can appreciate that (as is the case for any manager)......" If the dislike it purely down to that then fair enough. I was talking about the personal vitriol from day one before a ball was kicked.

Grown men in football shirts
Views? Good or bad? Which age do you think a man should stop wearing replica shirts (I'm not talking about whilst playing 5-a-side or whatever.....I'm talking wearing one as their 'clothes')? Do you think they should stop wearing them at all? In my own humble opinion, a corpulent 50-year-old in a replica football shirt is a sartorial disaster. Up to them of course but I think they'd look much better in a normal shirt.

Lowest home crowd since Jan 2007
"Feels rejected by their club"......well to be fair, he hasn't been since the 70's. He can't complain too much about anything in my opinion.

Rafa Benitez Appreciation Thread
Does anyone feel a shred of sympathy for Rafa? (serious question) I think I'm in the minority of Chelsea fans that doesn't hate him. If you don't like the football he serves up then I can appreciate that (as is the case for any manager)......but the only real reasons I've heard for hating him is his Liverpool connections (Torres also has Liverpool connections but he was backed until recently) and the fact he said some slightly offish things about Chelsea (nothing too bad in my opinion either) several years ago. Other than that, what is it? That he got in some spats with Mourinho? He was just doing his job at the time. I fully back the support for Di Matteo as he was treated rather shabbily but Benitez is just doing the job he has been given. I also think he has behaved quite graciously in the face of it all.
