Well I mean they're not a bunch of academy players, they've all played a lot of top flight football.

It's not as if we've put out a bunch of kids, this team should be more than good enough to win. That said, badiashile and Tosin at the back always frightens me

I have to admit that it's refreshing to hear a manager coming in and saying we've gotta win immediately, rather than the usual fluff we've had from Potter, Poch and Maresca where they say "yeah we'll get there...eventually". I will judge him on what happens on the pitch, but this doesn't make me any less furious at how the club is being run by the board and owners.

That's some headline, more points on his license than we're gonna get this season. How the hell so you still have a license when you've got 50 points?

Yeah I think the point of it is to just make the owners look as bad as possible, the more discontent from the fans the worse it looks to their investors, the people that Eghbali etc really care about.

It's really strange because I obviously want him to do well for us. He says the right things, really enthusiastic and ambitious. On the other side, I can't stand the thought of those owners being able to give us 'we told you so' when it's obvious to everyone that the 'project' needs tweaking. If they show willingness to change even a little bit I'll happy to get on board, but those stubborn pricks seem like they'll keep with it even if it spites themselves.

What really pisses me off is that with a couple of tweaks, without even massively veering from 'the project', we could be back challenging again: Appoint a proper manager who's experienced enough to develop the young players and leave him to manage the team Sign 2 or 3 top players to help the team while the youngsters develop This isn't something that requires £500m more spending, this could be done in the summer for £150m-£200m. We could raise a large chunk of that by selling players like Neto, George, Tosin, Disasi, Badiashile, Chalobah and Jackson. It really baffles me.

Really hope the protest is a success next week. I'm so happy Eghbali was there to witness everyone telling him to f**k off.

Yeah that was pretty much what I was gonna reply with, a lot of it depends on the games between now and the end of Feb. If we can come out with mostly, if not all, wins then we have a chance. I also think you underestimate how crap the teams above us are, we definitely still have a chance.
