Today I read an article which outlined the points teams would be on had VAR not been in use. All teams except for 3 would have either 0 or 1 point difference. Burney would be +2 and Fulham -2 and in what I’m sure is a surprise to absolutely no one Chelsea would have been on -5.

Refs have made a fortune from Gambling companies for so long and VAR threatens their ability to do that. That’s why they actively are making a farce of it. Make VAR independent and mic up both sides and watch how the ‘mistakes’ start to disappear.

Caicedo was shocking today I think I saw him complete one sideways pass the entire time he was on. Utterly disgusting that he’s allowed to wear the number 25. Should have had to prove himself for a season before it was even a suggestion. I know people didn’t like it when I said it at half time but maybe they’ll agree now. There was no difference in that game from the Chelsea of last season. Awful to watch. Stirling the only player who looked like he was playing for something.

Other than looking more positive going forwards I see no difference from last season so far. Loads of possession and a bunch of bottlers up front. £100M and you can’t even score a penalty. Pathetic.
