Looks like a wrist injury, but not too serious.

MOTM vs Hull (Prem H)
Mikel was horrid. Shambolic, as you Brits might say.

Chelsea vs Hull City (Premiership - Home 15/08/09 1245 KO)
OK, well that's that. Totally agree about the free kick leading to our goal. But then again, the free kick that started the build up that led to Hull's goal was a bit suspect. However, with the ball pinging off two of our defenders, I am not so sure that the free kick was the proximate cause of their goal, as was the case with our first goal.

Chelsea vs Hull City (Premiership - Home 15/08/09 1245 KO)
I am not so sure we deserved a win, but I will take it. I think that free kick that Alan Wiley gave us in the first half, that led to Drogba's great free kick goal, was soft to say the least.

I am not so sure about that being a cross.

Easy choice. Mikel was our worst performer by far.

Community SHield MOTM vs Man Utd
I voted Ballack, for his excellent penalty kick, but more-so for his getting under that worm Evra's skin.

FA Community Shield vs Man Utd (09 Aug 1500 KO)
Geez, Evra, can you kick it any slower than you did? Great penalty kick shootout, and nice for our confidence to win one of those. By the way, what's up with Joe Cole -- is he still injured?

First live band you ever saw
Sorry, I think is was more like 80 or 81, but my mind is a bit foggy about when it occurred.

First live band you ever saw
Beastie Boys, Run DMC, and Houdini, in 1974 or 1975, at the Capitol Center, in Largo, Maryland. Old School rap was the best! The current stuff is garbage (and that includes Jay-Z and all the other frauds).

Chelsea vs AC Milan - July 24th
Took us 4 hours to get to the game - what an Odyssey! The number of Chelsea supporters was unbelieveable, probably 50,000 of the 72,000 crowd. We were way up in the stadium, but had a good angle. The only weird thing that happened was that my wife jumped up and started cheering loudly when Milan scored the equalizer, and I had to tell her that the team in white was not Chelsea. Can't blame her too much, since when has Chelsea worn purple and yellow? Anyway, my sciatica is killing me know, given all the walking I had to do within the stadium (lots of steps), so I have to take another pain pill.

I am going to, with the wife. Boogamaster: Where will you be sitting in the M&T Bank Stadium?

Man City told to go whistle again..
I agree to a point, Geezer, but athletes have contracts, which they are obligated to see out. Otherwise, everything you said is correct about the circumstances being easy to understand. If Chelsea is happy with 40 or 50 million quid for JT, then I guess that is their decision to make.

Man City told to go whistle again..
Well, if worse come to worse, and we have to replace him, then I think Carvalho is a fairly good replacement.

Man City told to go whistle again..
This is what totally pisses me off about European football. In the US, if a player has a contract and is unhappy and/or if another team wants him, then too f**king bad for him if the team that currently has him does not want to sell him! In Europe, that is not the case. Dammit, a contract is a contract, and a player should be forced to see it out to the end. Mad and confused in the U.S.
