Tottenham is being robbed by that prick Howard Webb, and people here are glad? f**k You! While we still have a chance to win the title, rooting for ManU is just plain stupid.

I could never get into PB&J sanwiches. Did you see the deflection off of Ashley Cole's hand? There was no way Cech could have stopped that shot given that redirection. I have been critical of Cech's play of late, but you cannot fault him for this one.

i know that Bluebeard included them, but Lynyrd Skynyrd back in the day were fantastic. There is a movie, called Free Bird, of them playing at the 1976 Knebworth (?) festival in England (they played before the Stones), and that is just fantastic. He gives up much too many niggling fouls on the defensive side, and that it just unacceptable. Always complaining as well, which makes it worse. I am starting to have my doubts about him as well, especially since he cannot shoot worth a damn. Though, the best thing about today's result is that it shows that we can easily lose by a big margin to Liverpool, and hopefully it will be a "gut check" for us to see that that does not happen (I think that is a correct use of "that that").

All it takes is to get a sh*t referee and have a player sent off in the first half, then everything changes. By no means are we through to the next round yet.

Lamps was a 4. Horrible free kicks, and the caught-in-possession by Torres that almost led to a Scousers goal have to be factored in. The Danish ref deserves full credit as well.

The no-brainer vote is for Ivanovic, but you have to give a lot of credit to Cech and to Essien, who both were massive. If it was not for Cech's great save on Lamps stupidly being caught in possession by Torres , it would have been a totally different game.

Good point, Moose. The way he moved about to create space for himself was something to behold, and something that many players do not have the knack for. You are either born with that ability or not, and he has it. Also, he can elevate with the best of them.

I just saw a photo of that Machedo fellow who scored in injury time to give ManU the win over the Villians. I see that he is 17 years old, but by his picture he looks like he is 50+ years old. Good Grief!

I had mixed feelings about this one, since I was thinking if the game ended 0-0, the Ratmunchers would be riled up for their match with us mid-week, and instead by winning at the death, they feel content and may have a bit of a let-down when they play us (at least I hope so).

These are the games where I sorely miss the pace of Robben. We need a speedster like him, or a Lennon, or an Abonglahor. Without such a player, we really cannot change our style of play, which is something Liverpool can do with ease (put in Babel), and also ManU (for example, put in Tevez for Berbatov).

Moos, you are right -- Mike Dean had a very good game as the referee, and I think neither side can complain about him. Fair play to him.
