loz
Dear Gus, Thanks for doing a great job so far. Undefeated in eight matches (OK officially you weren't in charge against Watford), five clean sheets in that time, a return to form for Didier Drogba, Roman once again looking like he is in love with the club and the title challenge is alive again. But lets be clear - lose to Spurs and you are in the Thames with rocks tied to your ankles!!
The Moos
Well I can't see us lose against Spuds, unless they suddenly play like a team full for world class players and the manager turns world class too. I'm looking for another clean sheet. 2-0 or 3-0.
Tomon
I hope it's a walk in the park but I can see us struggling. I'm thinking 2 - 1 or possibly a 1 - 1. Spurs may be on a high after beating Villa.
Oblivion
What we will see: ..................Cech Bos....Carvalho,..Terry....Cole .................Essien .........Ballack.........Lampard ........Kalou.................Anelka .................Drogba But what I'd like to see is Mikel on for Ballack. Essien has more power and drive than Ballack, and Mikel does a better job of shielding the defense (so what good is the German then, eh?). At a place like WHL, against their pace-y frontline, 2 athletic holding midfielders may be called for. I'm delighted with Guus's reign, its moving in the right direction. However, I am dissappointed with the number of goals scored, especially a t home. This time around, I'd gladly settle for a 1-0 in our favour. It's a rival club and local derby, they hate us as much as we hate them. We have to remember what happened at the start of the season, they were last and we were the first team they took points from. We need to be tight at the back and control their wings. I see us winning it, but in similar style like the other games. In honesty, I would like to see the same line-up we had against City, but put Quaresma in the mix.
Orangutan
Is this weird to say? At this point, I slightly fear Robbie Keane. He certainly looks in form. That said, I have little faith in either Tottenham's back line or Gomes, so I think there are goals to be had here. Have to take the chances, though. I think Oblivion probably has the right lineup except in may be Ballack, rather than Essien, in the holding role. Also, Hiddink seems to like Malouda so I wouldn't be half surprised if it were he and not Kalou opposite Anelka on the wing. Otherwise, it's straightforward. Go out there and win. Alas, I shall be on a plane Saturday morning and will miss the match. Edited March 17, 2009 by Orangutan
mad_mac
Past few games have not been good against the y*ddos, draws and a cup final loss! Guus will go up infinitely in my estimation if we trounce them! or just a win will do, please
sergeyMS
We should be concentrated in the defence. Keane and Lennon are both can be a threat. There`s no need to be kidding with them. Agile Carvalho is the better choice than Alex, of course. And up front with Essien return into midfield and Drogba in-form we should score anyway, no matter who assistants are.... ozboy
Spurs now are not as bad as earlier in the season. After all they beat villa only a week ago and we are playing at their ground. Fortunately now they are in no danger they may start to relax a little. Our midfield should be too strong for them and we are strong at the back these days. Up front I am worried that Drogba is losing pace and is injured. Our critical forward shortage and shortage of fast wingers may tell against us again. One of the good points about the city game was the boss boy finally got all the way to the by line and put in some nice crosses. I feel kalou was unlucky to be dropped and very unlucky when belletti came on instead of him. Of course Mikel hasn't done too much wrong either. Hopefully Riccy is now properly recovered in which case I would just have kalou replacing Deco. Good as mikel is, ballack still offers quite a bit more in total, not as much drive as essien, not as good at shielding as Mikel but still a huge work rate, great team work with lampard and an attacking threat both on the ground and in the air even if he has yet to score a premier league goal this season. moi
There is a lovely old couple who live five minutes along the road from me. He is in his eighties and was a jazz drummer with many big names, including Louis Armstrong and George Chisholm. He is an Arsenal supporter. He has some really interesting tales to tell of the old days (he must be 80+). The other day he told me that he recently came over on the ferry and got talking to a man. After some time, the conversation turned to football. John said he was an Arsenal supporter. The other bloke got up, said “I’m a Spurs supporter, and if I never see you again, it will be too soon.†If this fellow is typical of Spurs supporters, no wonder you hate them so much! Let's trounce them!
Lofty
If this fellow is typical of Spurs supporters, no wonder you hate them so much T*tt*nh*m fans are the Scum of the Earth - worse than Scousers, who at least have the excuse of being ... well Scousers! T*tt*nh*m fans on the other hand, are almost without exception sly, bitter, two-faced nasty bar stewards. Back when hooliganism was at it's peak, most hooligans would only fight other hooligans - not so T*tt*nh*m fans. A father and daughter, husband and wife - it's all the same to those scumbags. Never, ever trust a T*tt*nh*m fan.

Let's trounce them! Class A knobhead by the sounds of it. This, for me is Guus's first big test. Scholari didn't manage it. Avram only managed it once out of 3 attempts. Its a victory against Harry Houdini and his merry band of prima-donas. Wouldn't mind Ballack keeping his place for this one, got a feeling with him and Essien in midfield, they should have the physicality to dominate them in the middle of the park quite effectively. Didier should have their defense running ragged all day long, and I can't see Lennon getting too much out of Ashley. Only real threats come from Keane and Bent or Roman up front (depending on who plays out of them two), but with Ricky having a couple of games under his belt now, I would hope we can deal with them. Prediction : 2-0 Chelsea win, and Guus picks up a large sack of brownie points from the fans and Big Boss.

mad_mac
For those planning on finding a stream, and live in the states, remember we've gone through Daylight Savings time already, so we are an hour closer to the Uk than usual. Don't think the UK goes through until next week. Therefore, if you are on the East Coast, you're now only 4 hours behind, as opposed to the usual 5! ANd the West Coast is 7 hours, as opposed to the usual 8. Don't get up too early now, you've got an extra hours sleep!

clubhappy
You wont see Spurs relaxing tomorrow , there pushng for a UEFA spot . Its a difficult game to call but we almost have our best starting 11 apart from Joey so i'd like to see quaresma start to give us options on the wing. mad_mac
Ian, I'd like to see Riccy Q starting also, but so far he seems to be out of favour with Guus, so it's hard to call. I expect us to line up as follows...assuming Riccy C is fit ......................Cech Bossie.......Terry.......Percy...Cole ....................Essien ......Ballacks...............Lampard Kalou..................................Anelka ..........................Drogs
