bennyboy1976 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Is anyone else watching this game? Is it me or is Danny Murphy having an unbelievable stinker of a game (Funny that).
dkw Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Is anyone else watching this game? Is it me or is Danny Murphy having an unbelievable stinker of a game (Funny that). he does seem to be "misplacing" a lot of passes. cant think why....
bennyboy1976 Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 He's given the ball awy everytime he's ha it. I know he's not no Messi but he isn't that bad.
mad_mac Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Liverpool with a ton of chances that they can't convert. Fulham holding on for dear life, and the commentators are sitting waiting for Gerrard to do something...they are almost creaming themselves everytime he touches the ball. I guess they are at the mercy of the fact it's not a special anfield night....Plenty support for them in the south too.......Oh sh*t Banayoun scored, and the commentators say "They needed that, my god they needed that!" w**kers!
Virosh Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Lucky, lucky Liverpool. Benayoun scored in the 3rd min of added time. Truth be told, they deserved to win, but their unbelievable luck is frustrating. Lets all hope it runs out on Wednesday !
Mr Chelsea Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 said to my son watch the jammy scouse barstads score on 93 and half mins, i wasnt far off got to agree with blueday
Zola's Love Child Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Complete bar stewards. They outplayed Fulham completely, but still, lucky sods. Did anyone else think that Bennett had a shocker today? I thought Skrtel was lucky to stay on (he was lucky not to get a first yellow for jumping into the back of Dempsey I think it was without trying to pay the ball). Games like theirs just makes me want to duff then Wednesday night even more.

I had mixed feelings about this one, since I was thinking if the game ended 0-0, the Ratmunchers would be riled up for their match with us mid-week, and instead by winning at the death, they feel content and may have a bit of a let-down when they play us (at least I hope so).
just Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I will say one thing one about the mousers, the number of late goals they have scored this year is just unbelievable. And they have been doing it since the season kicked off. I remember the press used to say we were never beaten under Mourinho because we had a similar habit. But it was nothing compared to the amount of late goals the rat-munchers have scored.
Tim Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Agree Just, and, ominously, the press also used to say that it was a sign of a title-winning team. Which we were, and they may well be. Not good times. We have to burst their bubble on Wednesday.

But it was nothing compared to the amount of late goals the rat-munchers have scored. Youve got to hand it to them really. Theyve shown more desire and hunger than we have all season, and do deserve to be above us, i dont think any Chelsea fan can argue that. I do think that their League form might just help us in the European games though. Its a rOle reversal of previous seasons actually. Liverpool really, really think its their year and for once they maybe, just maybe , wont have the urgency in Europe. Thats my plan anyway.
yorkleyblue Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 ...................... deserve to be above us, i dont think any Chelsea fan can argue that.............................. You'd be wrong BJD :P It might be true that they are playing well, but it's the f**king dippers FFS, they don't deserve ANYTHING! But, good plan by the way! Kev
geezer Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I actually had what could be deemed as a reasonably sensible conversation with my scouse loving neighbour and interestingly he's definitely not counting his chickens. Like me he sees Arsenal as having the most influence over where the title ends up this season given they've still got to play all of the top three and happen to be the only one of the 'big four' the scousers have failed to beat this season. When I said he could have the premiership if we could have the champions league he said he'd gladly give it to me, that's how much it means to the scousers. No pressure Rafa!
mad_mac Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I heard that yesterday was the 6th game this season that they have won in extra time. Take those goals away, anad give them 6 points rather than the 18 they got from those late goals, and the title is as good as Man U's Scott
geezer Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Ronaldo has got an early one against the Villa. Expect them to push on now
geezer Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Ronaldo has got an early one against the Villa. Expect them to push on now Or not as the case may be. 1-1
mad_mac Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Great play by Barry to get the cross in, then Karew makes Neville pay, and slots in a very nicely placed header. As much as I love to see Man U lose, I fear a result for Villa will just give the scoucers more hope, it's such a quandry!
