Good point. Belletti is an aggressive one, isn't he? Like to see him play rugby. Is Stoch on the bench? If so, I would like to see him out there.

Drogba is OK, just the wind knocked out of him. The Spuds had the better chances, and it was nice end-to-end play in the first half.

I am a bit surprised Drogba has not gotten a vote yet, since he did score the game winner. For me, it was between Drogs and Cech, with Malouda a close third. I also liked Ballack's enthusiasm out there.

The first half of the Lyon-Barca match last week was brilliant. Benzema is a genius, and Juninho's free kick goal was stupendous. Too bad the second half did not match up to the first half.

To me, Ballack has become a Peter Crouch, in that he should only play against certain teams where his strength is a great asset (I mention Crouch since he would be great against a team of midgets). Against quick teams, like Villa, ManU and even Wigan, Ballack should not even make the bench.

Lofty, you seem to have amnesia about the first 22 minutes, when we were dreadful. Good win, but probably not deserved.
