Gem
What a great game! Shame they both can't lose. All goals were errors and misjudgements too but by 'eck, that Torres is a player and a half. HT, 2-1 to the Scum.
The Moos
ManU need to drop some points, so are we allowed to cheer for Pool today? What say you, Lofty?
Gem
I think it's out of our reach, so I'd rather see the Mancs win and we secure 2nd... but you never know.

loz
3-1 Liverpool with Vidic sent off - need to put City away tomorrow!
sweet waffle
I'm glad I'm in Australia so I won't have to suffer all the rhubarb that Liverpool will be no doubt be spouting after this result.
b00gamaster
Holy..!!!! Scum have done Mancs 4-1.. Dossena just scored Vidic shown straight red - misses next 3 games.. Their confidence shoul crumble.. We must win against the City tomorrow!!! Edited March 14, 2009 by b00gamaster
ozboy
A draw would have suited us best, but beating manure 4:1 at OT is something to savour. As usual gerrard gets a penalty and someone sent off. He does it so often, but I have to say he is very fast for a midfielder and torres gave vidic hell on the night.
Gem
We've been stunningly good at not taking any of eithers slip ups to gain an advantage. We do need to do Man City tomorrow, but I don't think we will, we bottle it.
loz
If we can beat City, preferably by a couple of goals, then it will be a grand weekend. We will have wiped out the goal difference lead that utd have, be still a decent number of goals clear of Liverpool and there will be just a little pressue on Utd. Dubzz 6
I'd say the title race could weel be back in business if we beat city, with united missing their best defender.. maybe drop a few? We have Essien and Drogba back.. The form is turning upside down at the right time with 10 games left
Phillip
Let's not fool ourselves. It will take a minor miracle to catch the Mancs, and so this result gives us virtually nothing. I would have hoped for the Mancs to have drilled the Ratmunchers, to secure our 2nd place, but the opposite thing happened. Damn, the dancing milk carton is making me ill. Dubzz 6
I believe in miracles, Phillip  I'm still hoping for the best, this is football, and as they say, anything can happen.. Of course the odds are totally against us, but hey, what fans would we be if we didn't have a tiny bit of optimism?

b00gamaster
Maybe Gem was impressed by Arshavin more?He was a beauty for Arse today... Ah, Gem...!? Arshavin was great indeed today. That second goal was an absolute quality. I still cant believe Roman let him join Arse - he is a perfect replacement for Malouda (then again my grandfather would easily replace Malouda) Oh well... Ok, I'll pass him he must work harder and play better, London girls have yet to note him. :) I hope you'll start after FA Cup semis... ))

MissLoner
I watched the match... and I guess it fair to san Man U did nothing.... I was hoping for man utd to win actually, as I dont think they'll let the title slip, considering. And for us a 2nd place wouldn't be that bad, would it....? Let's hope we beat City tomorrow, and can still secure that 2nd spot. Robinho is not much of a help to them, so hopefully he'll be to us, scoring for Chelsea instead, haha! [is he playing, btw?]
Oblivion
We now ab-SO-lutely need to win tonight to have any chance of putting pressure on the top 2. I hope this shock result will fire up the boys to go out and make some (good) headlines for themselves too. Get in!
Chippy
I can't stand Liverpool but was well happy they turned the Mancs over..I did think they would get something up there and still say UTD are not as good as there position shows them to be. It also keeps the season alive title wise as with 30 points at stake anything can happen, I wouldn't want to be playing for second place while there was still a chance of first so the result today suited me fine. Lets hope we can keep the impetus against City and see how it all pans out.
