  1. i love lamps. what is it now, three goals in four games?
  2. i believe he only took one and he used it to sign the real madrid contract. the bloody thief.
  3. Kalou is from Ivory Coast, like DD.
  4. everytime i see rafa in picture i think of cookies. i do believe rafa eats a lot of cookies.
  5. Brian, I don't think Micah Richards was out of position. He can play naturally both at right-back and as a center back. He was awesome though...Richard Dunne too. The press will probably dedicate the headlines to him: Well Dunne.

I think there lies the difference between the way normal people look at football and they way experts look at football. I'm not saying you're just a normal football fan and neither am I saying I am some expert. It's just that I've had arguments about that goal before and seen the replay over ten times. To suggest that leaving John Terry with his ass on the ground is something very simple is just plain stupid. His tap-in was simple but his positioning and especially his movement before the goal was pure class.

I don't care if it's called mind games or something else. He did attack Eidur in public and accused him of diving (eidur was guilty but he didn't learn to dive at barca, not at all), funny considering Jose got players like Robben in his team. I don't quite understand why you think it was a good opportunity for him. That's bullsh*t. Even though there is an opportunity to say something demeaning doesn't mean you have to say it. There was nothing wrong with the timing of his move, nor the choice of club. He wasn't promised first-team opportunities at the club and decided to leave. The club must've been actually glad to offload him to Spain, otherwise they wouldn't have allowed the move.
  8. he's world-class in football manager but when has that meant anything.

Guddy was trying to settle this way!! How sh**ty that looks!! How can Chelsea player wears Barcelona`s shirt? Still got no answer........ Dont get me wrong, i dont begrudge him the move. He didnt feel he was getting the games here, barca are a great team and any player would aspire to play for them, hell if i was a pro footballer and wanted a move i couldnt think of many places id rather go... just the celabrating, it fealt like my ex best friend had just sent me a video of him sh@gging my girlfriend. I think it`s something about football loyalty and spirit. IF you were in Chelsea`s shirt, played well, contributing a lot, screaming like a savage after each scored goal, sending kisses to the crowd and sharing the joy with teammates for some years.............and then you join our worst rivals and keep doing the same things with them.... how can we call you? (Join any other club, but this...........) Totally you made a good example with JFH.....,, I can add MU Silvestre, who refused to join Newcastle, because of another player who is enemy to his friend. Even f**king Gerrard "stays" and Scource s**t love him for that. pretty funny post. barca are not chelsea's worst rival. far from it. when you play for a top-team it's very difficult to make a move to a another top-team without going to a rival. man united, arsenal and liverpool are also our rivals. eidur was always and has always been respectful towards chelsea. he celebrated his goal, yes, but he was playing infront of ninety thousand barca fans at nou camp. he didn't mean to disrespect anyone, he was just happy to grab his first goal at nou camp. meanwhile jose was disrespectful towards eidur, his former employee. i'd love to hear your opinion on that.

say what you want. the fact is, when played in a forward position eidur gudjohnsen always scores 10+ goals...and i only remember two seasons where he featured in 95% of the games and in those two seasons he netted 23 and 16 goals. he managed 12 for barca. he started 20 times, scored 10 goals. he was used as a sub about twenty times as well, scored two goals.
  11. i think torres will do good for liverpool. don't think he will end up being one of the best players in the premiership this season but do think he will do quite well. certainly an improvement over kuyt (his biggest strength is his work rate and that says a lot) and bellamy (a donkey). don't know about voronin but he's been scoring a lot in the friendlies.
  12. so good. if i remember correctly wimbledon were playing in the premiership at that time.
  13. Sometimes in football you have to score goals. -Thierry Henry. Also, Gordon Strachan is a genius. Reporter: Gordon, you must be delighted with that result? Strachan: You're spot on! You can read me like a book. Reporter: Bang, there goes your unbeaten run. Can you take it? Strachan: No, I'm just going to crumble like a wreck. I'll go home, become an alcoholic and maybe jump of a bridge. Umm, I think I can take it, yeah. Reporter: There's no negative vibes or negative feelings here? Strachan: Apart from yourself, we're all quite positive round here. I'm going to whack you over the head with a big stick, down negative man, down. Reporter: Where will Marion Pahars fit into the team line-up? Strachan: Not telling you! It's a secret. more here: http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2004 ... tes-p1.php
  14. i can't wait to see steve "the red lightning" sidwell in action. get ready to warm the bench, lamps!
  15. i'll be devastated if guddy leaves for a sh*tty club like newcastle. and i don't believe it. they've bought viduka and have martins, owen and shola ameobi.
  16. i think bent is actually brilliant. much better than both robbie keane and defoe.
  17. edmilson is very average, for a defensive midfielder. he'll fit right in at st. james park. barcelona have an awesome team now. if they continue to play 4-3-3 then one of iniesta, toure, xavi and deco will have to be benched and the same goes for the four forwards; henry, messi, 'dinho and eto'o. imagine having players like andres iniesta and thierry henry on the bench.
  18. "But not many journalists ask Rafael Benitez and Arsene Wenger, 'Why zero?'" classic jose.
  19. i agree with loz. when AFN come up we'll lose mikel and essien but we will have lampard, ballack, maka, diarra and joey cole. that's five players. what is diarra doing at the club?
  20. it happened as well when guddy was leading the line in 04/05. the team scored four goals every game. that said, drogba is a much better player than guddy. so i don't know.
  21. guddy did really well in the 04/05 season...and he did that in an lone striker role and attacking midfielder role, who are not his natural positions. and i thought crespo was excellent last season.
  22. you can play both attacking football and have success. barcelona, last year for an example. man utd, this year. there's a big difference in the two semi final ties this year. man utd and milan both attacked during their game, both teams coming back from a lead to score two goals...always wanting to get the win. while liverpool and chelsea squeezed out their 1-0 wins.
  23. if man city beat man utd and chelsea beats arsenal then there are only two points between the teams before the game at stamford bridge. and if chelsea will win, well then chelsea are one point ahead of man utd. it's far from being over.
