To be honest, Mourinho could have easily subbed him, Think majority of us knew he was getting involved in too much whilst already on a yellow. His performance was superb in the 2nd half, Hopefully he carries on like this, He will do really well if he does.

Willian a complete waste of money? Be serious. I admit i thought he was awful v Fulham & Swindon but hes only been here a month. He's not going to play every game, But that's the same as Oscar, Hazard, Mata, Schurlle & KDB, 1 of these will also not make the bench every game. Im sure he will be alright eventually. Let's just stop overreacting about everything so far this season. Other teams are much worse than us, Plus we've had 3 of probably the hardest away games in the league already.

I think you'll be suprised, From what ive seen/heard, Mikel is roughly 70/75k, Ba is the same and Cahill is 85k. Would rather use Romeu instead of Mikel, Both make similar mistakes and one is probably on a third of his wages. Essien is another one on roughly 80k, Another play i believe is past it and wont play many games. These 4 players do provide decent squad depth which i wouldnt disagree with, Im just saying they aren't good enough for the first team when they play IMO

When you look on paper, The squad looks amazing, But deep down, Players like Torres, Ba, Mikel, Cahill just simply aren't good enough in my opinion. Main thing is we need a top quality striker, We've known this for 2/3 years now but we still presume Torres/Ba and now add Eto'o will get us through but it simply won't. We need a top drawer holding midfielder, Now im the first to slag Mikel off i admit, It's very rare but he does sometimes put in the occasional decent game. But we need better than him, De Rossi springs to mind. Also i believe we need another quality centre back, Personally id rather have Ivanovic as CB and Dave as RB but it seems Jose doesn't. Seems to be a problem with the lack of quality CB's available over the summer. I like Willian as a player but let's face it, His position was the last we needed to splash out on. Could have gone for Higuain & De Rossi Instead of Willian & Eto'o. But saying this, It is far from time to panic, It will get better, Hazard has only had a few good games, He will pick up, Mata when he gets fit. Exciting times ahead i believe

As i said in the other thread. Dont be suprised to see Ba & Moses Leave, Schurlle to be used as ST, That leaves Willian, KDB, Hazard, Mata & Oscar to fight for 3 positions. Thats without injuries too so it isnt that bad on our part. Can see one of Essien or Mikel going too.

Demba and Moses off, Schurlle as Dembas replacement. That leaves Mata, Hazard, Oscar, KDB & Willian as the main Attacking midfielders

Balotelli, Tevez & Possibly Dzeko all gone/leaving. Jovetic & Negredo coming in doesnt mean Aguero will leave, Wouldnt be suprised if Jovetic plays a little deeper than he has done for Fiorentina. Quality signing and im sure he will do well, Negredo on the other hand, From what ive seen is a complete waste of money

So glad we signed Dave instead.

De Rossi would be a quality signing, Especially at anything under £10m

Crespo was the turning point of us having world class talent for me. The way he used to run across the line making defenders not having a clue where he was or who was marking him. He didn't make enough appearances but for me he was decent in many of them, Still remember the moment he won his first league title with us, He was absolutely estactic.
