Because he scored the goals that won us our first League title in 50 years against Bolton.

 

I would go for any of Swansea, West Ham, or Bolton. Swansea because he made his first ever senior appearance for them, West Ham because that was the club that got him going, and Bolton for the reasons above.

 

I think a testimonial should involve clubs that have an impact on someone's career i don't see how Vitesse or Rangers have had any impact at all on Lampards career.

Why meaningless?  Many Rangers fans support Chelsea as their English team, and many Chelsea fans support Rangers as their Scottish team.  Are you not from the UK, Uno?

Yeah im from the UK. I meant more meaningless to Lampards playing days. Usually these type of games are played against old clubs or clubs that the player supports.

oh I see , sorry, I misunderstood. I think the rumour started when Rangers was first in trouble, as a way of giving support to them in their hour of need.

Seriously, yep, I'd far prefer a past 11 to Wet Spam. 

I dont agree with testimonials these days. Testimonials were like a players pension in the old days, thanking them for service and a nice little bumper pay day at the end of their careers as a golden handshake.Players these days earn so much money they dont need that. Some earn more in a week that your average Joe would earn in about 5-6 years.

 

I'd make an exception though for super Frank. I'd like to say thanks.Love the bloke, legend.

The money normally goes to charity these days.

I'd love it to be Rangers, if not then a Premier League 11. Lets not forget Frank is the highest scoring midfielder in the PL.

That would be the best IMO, get the likes of Drogba, Ballack, Duff, J.Cole, Carvalho etc. back, would be an amazing game to see.

I'd love it to be Rangers. The friendly at Ibrox a few years ago was one of the nicest, warmest atmospheres I've ever been part of.
