Watched the Merseyside derby with the gf and to say Everton were terrible would be an understatement, made our Super Cup game against Athletico look like a heroic last stand. Liverpool were very good though but Everton were just dire.

Just saw a comment on an article about maybe playing Hazard as a false 9 and wondered what everyone thinks. I know it failed miserably last year against Juventus but with The Special One in charge anything is possible. Or is his dribbling best reserved for the wider areas and we go with Lukaku as a TM?

I wouldn't mind seeing a middle 3 of Ramires/Matic/Lampard in a return to 2005 tactics, with Matic as Makelele, Ramires as Thiago and Lampard as himself. Gives Lamps free reign to attack without having to track back as much. The only issue is that one of the AM trio would have to be dropped but its nice to have the options.
