Agree with this bit, one of the biggest things we've lacked this year and as we saw in Barcelona and Munich last season, Frank is more than capable of providing that in Terry's absence. I don't think he'll break the record but what a moment it would be if he did.

Now lets not be so quick to judge here fellow forum users as the original poster makes some very valid points. How could I or any of us for example support a team that has the gall to cheer for past legends? When choosing a team to support I should have said 'Dad, I'm sure Chelsea are a great side but I want to be a plastic. I want to pick the team with the best history going, pass me a Man U/Arsenal/Liverpool shirt. WHAT HAVE I DONE?! If I picked the wrong football team to support who knows what else I might have done wrong? Aren't McEachran and Chalobah both more deep lying playmakers though than defensive midfielders? If so it might be worth playing Luiz higher up with Ramires and playing Azpi-Cahill-Terry-Cole.

I'd give it to Cech once Terry retires and Mata when Cech moves on, gives him at least 3-4 years to be groomed for the role but if not him then either Luiz or Cahill.

So being a 90's kid, I obviously missed out the days of Bonetti in goal (though I have thankfully been filled in) who along with Cech is regardless as the best 2 keepers in our history. But after those 2 is quite possibly the most underrated player in Chelsea history, Carlo Cudicini who despite being displaced still stuck around on the bench for about 4-5 years despite probably being able to walk into nearly any 1st XI in the world. Were it not for 1 injury who knows how things might have turned out? But yeah, before JT, Lamps, Didier, Cudicini was the first Chelsea player to really inspire me so here's a small thank you to one of the best players of the pre-Abramovich years.

Voted for Real as that increases the chances of Jose returning but failing that, either Dortmund for their brilliant fans or Bayern as last year probably hurt them more than we were by Moscow. And I hope Shakthar get trounced by Real or Barca as last night they were woeful.
