Why are we always so much worse when scoring early on?

Lampard having a shocker, Mikel playing well though and Hazard seems to be the only one who has a clue where the goal is.

Bertrand is really really quick. A trio of Oscar, Mata and Hazard looks if they reach their potential will be incredible.

At the end of the day he did his best for us and we can't ask for any more than that. He gave us years of loyal service despite not getting consistent game time and contributed to all of our victories. Mikel will never forget you.

I know it was against a second-string Italy team but they played far better then they have for a very long time. Cahill was unlucky not to have that lovely volley given and what a block by Bertrand off the line which led to Defoe's goal. Always liked Defoe.

Dad's always been a Chelsea fan and I am as a result although I have no idea why he supports Chelsea and neither does he seeing as we're from North London and my grandad dosen't care for football and my uncle's a Gooner.

This is better than what I thought, I just didn't want to produce a brilliant player only for him to be stolen by Barca.

The only qualm I have about Romeu is that I think Barca have a buy back clause in his contract so if he gets too good he could be leaving us. If I'm wrong then yeah give him some game time but I think everyone is forgetting Mikel's immense performances towards the end of last season and 1 bad pre-season shouldn't lead to such massive uproar.

With 11 men we were more than a match for them and looked very solid. Sending off changed everything.

Red card changed everything as all 2 of their goals whilst being well taken all came down our right/their left. They've got away with a string of fouls for no punishment and then Cole makes one and gets booked. Set a damn precedent.
