Didn't Jose just say he was going to start rotating the squad more? If Costa wasn't suspended, we would see the exact same starting XI that we're used to. Don't get me wrong... I love our starting XI but I wonder if tired legs had anything to do with the inability/unwillingness to make more moves to break down Sunderland. I thought we looked labored. Hope we aren't today! Let's go blues!

The thing is, every new deal will be a little more inflated than the last. Each team/sponsor is playing a massive game of leap frog with these sponsorships. By the time Real Madrid renews their sponsorship, they'll be getting £70 or 90 million per year. We'll be stuck at the current level until AFTER Manchester United renew again for a deal near to those Madrid figures. Unless of course this sponsor inflation bubble slows/bursts.
