Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager
I would add Poch as well. All respect to Zidane but his Real Madrid were very individualistic. I'd prefer to have a tactician a la Tuchel again. But I don't think we'll see a change until at least next winter. Hansi Flick is the only one that would be easy to negotiate a deal with midseason.

Mykhailo Mudryk signs for Chelsea
That reverse pass for Kai, who should have stayed onside for the goal, was really tasty. I just think we can't have both him and Madueke right now as they're both a bit soft tactically. Sterling in the right, rotating with Madueke would be good.

Watching Arteta on the sidelines with admiration.... I think I've hit a new low.- Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager
How much clapping do we need to do for that? I'm keen either way.- Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager
I think saying he doesn't know what he's doing is a bit simplistic. I never champion for sacking a manager early nor do I have any issue with waiting for him to get his ideas across. But deary me we are going to have the weakest mentality going if we stick it out. I've never seen us needing 3 points, being flat in the last 30 minutes, and seeing the manager passive and clapping on the side. Real Madrid would kill us in the CL on mentality alone.- Random Rumours
I mentioned 3 originally that are better and above his level. But if I must - Haaland, Benzema, Kane, Jota, Jesus, Lewandowski.....hell, even Nkunku playing as a 9 last season was also better in almost every area.- Random Rumours
Dupe deleted.- Random Rumours
If you had Peter Crouch playing in the prime Barcelona team, he would create more chances than Kane. It's relative and not all chances are created equal. Kane creates chances that you would expect of the best 10s in the game. Again, chasing loose balls is the bare minimum. He is nowhere near this generation's best strikers technically.- Random Rumours
By overall game do you mean technically and tactically? Because nothing I've seen of him has been anywhere near their level. He's had a very efficient season playing for arguably the best team in Europe this season. Can't argue with his goals but making a nuisance of yourself should be the bare minimum. Our next 9, say if they're not going to play Nkunku there, needs to be someone technically great and who can be effective in wide areas. What he did was... simply be great. Everything people would claim to be the strengths of say Virgil van Dyk, he had that in his locker and he did it for longer. But he is not the first good footballer to struggle with the pace of this league and he won't be the last.- Random Rumours
Save half the cash and resign Tammy in that case. Osimhen is nowhere near the levels of Kane, Haaland, Benzema, Lewandowski. For that kind of money a striker should be top drawer.- Mason Mount
That's all great in principle but that leaves Potter with a new signing as his only midfield option. I'm sure they wouldn't be playing if we had viable options.- The Great Chelsea Summer Clearout - Predictions
Okay so I get the sentiment, however, if your decision is based on his attacking output then it's misdirected. The driving run from the heart of defense is a rare and valuable skill. And that feeds into his ability to be press-resistant. Kovacic's attributes lend him to being a monster in the middle third of the pitch. In a functioning 3-man midfield, a player of his ilk can be invaluable and fully fit he would be in most of the top midfields in Europe. Of all the established players he's one of the last that should be sold.- Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!
Aggressive with his press? You'll have players running right by him. Sterling has to play - he is our best goal scorer. I would in fact like to see him upfront a few times as he did for City. Felix is not a big scorer but should be the main creative influence in the final third, with Enzo doing his bit occasionally. If we play 5 at the back, Kova is the perfect partner for him. And we may see more of that when Gusto arrives.- Will Potter win the League within the next 5 seasons?
I'm in the same boat but I'm willing to give him 2 seasons to find out. Hopefully he can gently clap us to a few cups.- The Great Chelsea Summer Clearout - Predictions
Interested to know why you would sell Kovacic and keep Kante? Kovacic (when fit) has been out best player in the 2 previous campaigns and only lost POTS to Mount because of injuries.- Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager

Certain to leave: Pulisic Ziyech Auba Bakayoko RLC Azpi Baba Sarr Possible: Gallagher Ampadu Mendy CHO I'd like to keep Zakaria as I think he's shown enough for the price tag. And I would keep Gallager - Mount has nowhere near enough quality to start as an attacker and is not as good as Gallagher in deeper areas. RLC is 27 now and it's time to cut him loose.- BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Nah, 100% he was doing Andrew Tate's Hustler's University course.- BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
That is one of the most idiotic takes I've seen spreading on social media. On Live TV he simply looked like he was answering a message and then put his phone away. What moron believes a high-functioning billionaire plays games on his phone....and during a match...- Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!
Not at AM but agree he needs to be further forward. He can do more than Mase or Conor to unlock a defence and yet we have them fumbling around the box. Just like with KDB he needs the license to be a roaming 8. Really can't wait to have Zakaria or even RLC back.- Kai Havertz
The difference being the previous regime rolled dice before signing him. We had the best assembled recruitment team in Europe choose the targets this window. He more than anyone of our attackers needs a league that affords him time and space to thrive.- BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Also once again they hint at the things Tuchel did behind the scenes to justifiably lose his job. I just wish we could get the inside scoop on this.- BlueCo buy Chelsea FC

I watched this earlier and absolutely loved it. Appreciate what Jordan and White are doing to correct the narrative on Boehly. And as much as I think Keown is an absolute buffoon, I have some respect for someone who comes back to be slaughtered over and over. - Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager
