  1. Aside from the Arsenal game he has been abysmal. I genuinely think dropping Ivanovic will do wonders for our form even in the absence of other changes.
  2. I don't know why but this has grown on me.
  3. He's not wrong, Wenger has a history of voyeurism.
  4. According to Transfermarkt Eto'o scored a goal every 193 minutes in the 13/14 season. Schurrle scored every 227 minutes. I'll also throw in that Eto'o picked up an extra 4 assists that season. So yes, their strike rates weren't close. edit: Transfermarkt also took into account 6 games Eto'o played for Anzhi before joining us, where his strike rate was far worse than what it was for us. So his actual strike rate was significantly better than that.
  5. If only Jose hadn't moved him to dm, who knows bla bla bla bla etc.
  6. Eto'o was far better than Schurrle that season.
  7. Young, quick, dynamic attacking players can often look good initially, the real test will come when managers and opposition defenders have had more of a chance to see what he can do and his tendencies and adapt their tactics accordingly. So far he's been excellent but I wouldn't read too much into it yet, keep giving him minutes here and there and see how he does over the course of the season before making any bold claims.
  8. Haven't read any of your previous posts but this comment was hilarious, truly a disciple of Wenger. You lot are perfect for each other, enjoy being perennial losers.
  9. The Real Djeal.
  10. 13-0, glad to see we're all in agreement! Diego, Diego, Diego
  11. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3243106/Diego-Costa-spends-day-Peppa-Pig-World-FA-confirm-Chelsea-striker-charged-violent-conduct.html Got to love this man. Creates a national sh*tstorm on Saturday, spends Sunday at Peppa Pig World.
  12. Up until United became sh*te 2 years ago they were renowned for having the most glory hunting fans of any club in world football. So really the only funny part of your post was the bitter irony.
  13. It's amazing that its apparently happening every game yet he hasn't gotten sent off once for us. Some of us like watching a striker who gives back what he takes from defenders. After the barren years of Fernando Torres spending half the game kneeling on the ground looking up at the referee pleadingly it is a very refreshing change. Fact of the matter is that his actions have never cost us a damn thing while quite possibly winning us many points. He's a marked man now? He was a marked man before he even arrived here, he didn't show anything new yesterday, just affirmed the reputation he's had since day 1. He's been a marked man since he arrived and nothing will change, and it hasn't caused us any grief thus far. Ain't nothing smart about being banned? I'd take him being out for 3 games and us winning that match (which given our form this season thus far was certainly no guarantee regardless of the fact we played very well in the first-half), over us not winning that game and having him for the next 3 matches. Falcao and Remy have shown they can step up, and they will. Let's not pretend that you know about his personal problems because none of us do. The fact he got into handbags with opposition defenders who almost definitely had been niggling at him all game doesn't give any insight into what he is like. I remember a certain Didier Drogba getting sent off in a champions league final for slapping Nemanja Vidic - so I suppose he is also f**king pathetic and has problems. If Costa isn't shrewd, yet apparently does this every game, and has never been sent off, then what is he? That is the very definition of shrewd. He's not an unintelligent bull in a China shop, i'm sure that he does exactly what Jose tells or allows him to do. He didn't attempt a single tackle in that second half - are those the actions of an uncontrollable lunatic or a man who knows how to do what is best for the team?
  14. Well to be fair Jose is unlikely to put 2 CB's on the bench.
  15. My word what an excellent post.
  16. I haven't seen any further mention of Koscielny's 2 foot studs up challenge on Oscar either, where Oscar then got booked for retaliating. Just me or did that look like a very red cardable tackle?
  17. I saw that mentioned by just about everyone on ArsenalFanTv which I found incredulous, although I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at anything on there. Would very much like to see the first half match stats as to me it looked like we had totally bossed the entire half. We weren't quite at our best but it was certainly the best i'd seen us play so far this season, even before the sendings off.
  18. Called it, cheers Arsene you whiny incompetent twat.
  19. Well he just shut us all up.
  20. He's never been sent off while playing for us. He arguably won us the game yesterday. What are people complaining about?
  21. Well looks like everyone other than the OP and 1 or 2 people on recently created accounts unanimously think this topic is a load of sh*te.
  22. I struggle to think of anything that makes me happier than beating Arsenal, even when it happens so frequently. It is the gift that just keeps on giving.
  23. too far, way too far.
  24. Couldn't ask for much better ahead of our game against the Arse on the weekend, them losing an away game in Croatia while having to chase for the majority of the game.
