The funniest ones are the fan's comparing this to Cantona's kung fu kick and demanding even worse punishment as the kid was 17, especially when they're made by 15 year olds who would have been a year old when it happened.
  2. Depends if by best you mean most talented or most successful -------------------Cech------------------- Ferreira - Carvalho - Terry - Cole--- ----------------Makelele------------------ --------Lampard -------Ballack--------- Mata------------------------------Robben -------------------Drogba-----------------

I checked on redcafe and RAWK as I was curious as to what opposing fans thought, and even the majority of them thought the whole situation was ridiculous.
  4. damn f**king straight, if he tried to pursue this further he would hopefully have ended up getting a good kicking in. It's all well and good for him to apologize now, but because of his bullsh*t Hazard is now going to be banned for a ridiculous amount of fixtures and it removed any slim chance we had of pulling the game back. If a fan took a ball and obstructed it from a player like that he'd probably get banned from games, same should happen here.
  5. The first sub was correct and i'd been asking for it for 10 minutes before it happened, Iva was easily our worst player on the pitch, let in Michu a few times, but worst of all was his ball distribution, he either hoofed it forward and lost the ball, and some of his passes to Cech could easily have ended up in a repeat of the first leg. The 2nd sub was pretty much ruined by the sending off, clearly we needed a goal and Torres was the only striker on there. Don't really understand the point of the final sub as Ash is probably the most fit player on the field after Ramires, but I can see why he made a defensive sub, at least we didn't lose to those c**ts after the scummy antics of that ballboy.

Sign him up, he seems to give more of a sh*t about our club than half the players out there today.
  7. The game was lost 2 weeks ago, they parked the bus and parked it well, any side can do it, hell we did it at the Nou Camp with 10 men with no proper CB's on the pitch.
  8. It was stupid because of the obvious media sh*tstorm that would occur, not because the kid was ever in any danger of being hurt in the slightest or because the act itself was wrong. Unfortunately thats the way things are for our club these days, whether or not he knew that now he certainly does. So long as the fans stick behind him that's all that matters, it's never bothered Ash or JT that they get booed just about everywhere they go. If Jose comes in next season it may even suit him, he's always preferred setting up a seige mentality at the club, and that's exactly the mentality Hazard will need from now on.
  9. I think there's already a 100 page long topic

If you're talking about Cantona that was a bit different. Anything more than 3 games for this is a travesty of justice, hell any suspension is f**king ridiculous for this but if they give more for that then a dangerous challenge on the field (3 game) then the FA have some f**king answering to do.
  11. Anyone not supporting Eden through this can f**k right off.

Hope the fans really support Hazard at our next home match with singing his name or something, he's still very young and it would be horrible for something like this to throw him off. The kid is clearly a little c**t but i'm sure the media will be more than happy to make him look like a child beater. My only regret is that if he was going to get a red, he didn't actually give him a good thumping, because by the replay it looks like all he got was the ball.
  13. People saying Oscar and Ramires should be taken off, are we watching the same game? Ramires has been running things deep far more than Frank, and Oscar has gotten into better positions than anyone, Swansea are just defending very well. But bringing off either of them won't benefit us.
  14. Not sure what to think about that half, I think we definitely have a chance still, and I think if we score one they might really crumble a bit and get parked in their box. Only danger is them hitting on the break. Someone has to tell Cesar not to dive in for a tackle 3/4 of the way up the pitch, better to just back off and get back into position like Ash does, because 2 or 3 times he's been passed up the field and left us exposed very easily.
  15. I read somewhere a while back that either the GK Coach or someone had said that Cech has problems with his joints (knees and/or elbows I can't remember), and that they will most likely cut short his playing career. Still haven't seen any evidence of Courtois being voted the #1 liga keeper though..? That being said, it was reported all of 2 days ago that he's said that he'd be happy to go back on loan to Atletico again next season. They'll most likely be in the CL next year, and he'll be representing Belgium at the 2014 World Cup, so we'll get two big opportunities to see him on the big stage, and to properly judge his quality in comparison to Cech. But certainly for next season I think Cech needs to be here, with Frank gone and JT struggling with injuries, we'll need him to really step up and lead from the back, because he'll be one of the few experienced heads left out there.
  16. I think having the likes of JT, Cole and Lampard here another season would only encourage Jose to come back, I bet they're still loyal to him and he'll value their contributions to the team.
  17. Where's the source on him being voted the best? I can't find it via. google.
  18. I actually felt bad for AVB the way he was treated here and hoped he would go on to do big things at his next club, unfortunately his next club was Spurs, but still i'd rather he succeeds than the voyeur.
  19. The way I see him running around elbowing people in the face and regularly kicking out at people after he loses the ball, I really don't care mate.
  20. f**k it I hope Rafa picks the most offensive line up possible, i'd rather we go down losing 5-4 than winning 1-0, so long as we have a proper go at it from the start and don't f**k around until the 80th minute then complain about missed opportunities. Swansea have only won 1 of their 5 fixtures since we last played them (although that was their most recent one), and were completely dominated by Arsenal last week. -----------Cech Iva - Cahill - Terry - Cole ------Luiz - Lampard --Hazard - Mata - Oscar -------------Ba Iva ahead of Dave as I think we'll have a fair few corners in this one, and having him + Cahill + JT + Ba + Luiz give us possibly our best chance of getting a goal, Swansea aren't a big team and having 5 big men in there with Frank and Mata supplying the crosses will be deadly. Luiz ahead of Ramires, despite Ramires being undoubtedly our best player on the weekend, because this will be a game against a parked bus, and Ramires doesn't have the finesse needed for that sort of game, in the Arsenal game he was brilliant when he had space to maneuver, but this one we'll need Luiz playing some early balls up to Ba and Hazard. JT back to give the team a kick up the ass and for his unmatched quality in the opposition box during set pieces. Ba ahead of Torres for obvious reasons. Ramires & Marin substitutions late on if we're struggling.
  21. I'll say it for you, there's no f**king way that Arsenal are going to win the Champions League this year.
  22. Anyone saying one is better than the other right now is spouting nonsense, because the fact is that we don't know! Cech has been a top 3 goalkeeper for the last 8 or so years but if Courtois has just been voted better than Casillas (probably the best keeper of the last decade, and one of the all time greats) that really does mean something. If he's willing to go out on loan again next season then that is the obvious choice, because that delay's our decision for another season. In fact if he's happy to go out on loan for the next 3 seasons that would be the best result of all, because by that time Cech will be 33 and i've heard in the past that his knees/elbows are likely to cut short his career, at which time Courtois may be able to come in. It all hinge's on whether Courtois is happy to keep going out on loan, which will depend heavily on whether Barca or another big club come knocking for him. If there's no bigger interest then what choice does he have but to be happy with his situation here, but if he has better options I think we'll see him ask for a transfer (unless he's a Chelsea fan..?).
  23. Would love to see the Arse miss out on 4th, I wonder if the club will finally be done with Wenger should that happen.
