If those aforementioned nations pulled out of the 2018 and 2022 competitions and formed their own continental competition with guest nations (Brazil, Argentina, Australia etc), sort of like the Euros but with increased scale then corporate sponsors would drop the poisonous brand of FIFA and the entire house of cards would collapse. We, as Chelsea fans, have had our umbrages with UEFA in the past but this is bigger than us. We should get behind UEFA without reservation in this hour.
