RSC

Featured Replies

He had a decent campaign 2 seasons ago but failed for Bayern before that and was injured for most of this last season....I'm fine with City fans talking about Tevez and Barry, but I don't see what's to get excited for with RSC.

I reckon he is a quality player and just got unlucky with injuries and a crap team last year. This year will be the test because if he cant perform with a decent team behind him he has no excuses. I reckon he would fit into our lineup nicely actually

I have no idea why anyon rates him highly - he is 27 and has had one good season in his entire career (England and Germany combined). His international scoring record isn't too bad but you have to factor in that most of those goals have come against the likes of Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador.

We have one striker on out books who I would choose him ahead of and that is Pizarro - the rest of them, including Sturridge and Di Santo, I would give the nod ahead of him.

if his international goals came against bolivia away then he is a quality player :JC_doubleup:

he is a decent player but nothing special. reckon city bought him cause they had no prescence up front but now they have bought adebayor i don't see him having many starts

All day, I've desperately trying to think of something intelligent to write here, but the truth is: I just can't think who RSC is (except Royal Shakespeare Company, and wouldn't the actors make excellent creative players).

I think Hughes rates him highly...another reason why I don't think Hughes will be at Man City at the start of next season.

To me this is remniscent of Souness being convinced Barry Ferguson would work at Blackburn.

RSC is decent, nothing more, and Blackburn have to be loving the amount they got for him

Seems like it. Unless it's a typo and it's actually a thread about RASC.

I used to belong to the RASC. It actually stands for 'run away someone's coming'

I agree with that. At City I dont think he is going to get nearly the same opportunity to ever repeat his one prolific season.

Tevez, Adebayor, RSC, Bellamy, Bojinov and perhaps more to come. Thats assuming SWP, Elano and Robinho are deployed out wide exclusively. They better be banking on some long cup runs, or there are going to be some unhappy players at the end of the year
