loz
Pretty much anyone you vote for is on the basis of one half (give or take) and for me that makes it a choice between Deco, Sturridge and Cech. I voted for Deco however there was nothing to choose between the three of them.
PloKoon13
Probably Deco for me too. Really good display. I think we could hear echoes of Pirlo in that performance. Good defensively as well. I noticed we lost a lot of our forward thrust when he was replaced. Honourable mentions to Sturridge, Cech and Di Santo as well.
Virosh
Deco for me as well. Mind you, that's probably bad omen. He had a really good couple of friendlies last year and look where that got him. Studg is a very close second with a goal and a good pass leading to our second.
Ruh Buh Juh
Studge gets my vote. He was all over the pitch picking up balls in useful areas, brilliant finish for the goal and a semi-assist if you will for Lamps' goal. Good stuff :) Deco played really well too, and Hutchinson looked very solid indeed.

mbh
Sturridge, good all round display by the youngster, Deco was rally trying to impress then again he needs to.
TheWestwayWonder
So great to hear that Deco had a good game. If its between losing him for peanuts and keeping a willing player who has his off days, then I will opt for the latter. I think Ancelotti has the sense and options to drop him if need be. Sturridge scoring his first is awesome too. Go on danny boy :) Cant wait to see these fellas in Baltimore
blizeH
I'm tempted to vote for Sturridge as I think he was great, but my vote goes to Deco because his vision and passing was superb, did brilliantly defensively on a couple of occasions too, winning some awesome battles and tackles. Hope he can keep it up into the season, and stay fit this time too! Couldn't believe Jason Cundy at half time saying that he wasn't impressed with Deco, he didn't make much impact etc etc... I felt like I was watching a different game!
dkw
Deco??? :D :o never thought i`d see the day... ill go for studge, mainly beacuse for a young player on his debut to impress like that takes some doing. not only his goal but his movement which was excellent. Star
Bit of a nothing game, Inter and AC Milan will provide a test that we need and will determine Ancelloti's blue plan for the way forward, both with team and formation/players required to be bought/sold. Sturridge gets my vote, took his goal well, linked up well with Anelka for the second, slightly ahead of Lampard and Terry, the latter deserves a mention for the way he has conducted himself since the day he landed in the states and indeed it was the same old JT lunging in tackles and putting his head in where it hurts. I'm with Jason Cundy on Deco's performance to be honest. What's happened to Neil Barnett 'the spy' like Kenyon not my favourite behind the scenes man ? Not at the Chelsea Player of the Year Awards, replaced on the USA tour by Rob Andrews, lost his spot on the Chelsea TV phone in to Jason Cundy ... Have Man City snapped him up :D

Matt F
I agree, Man of the Match is Deco, but for me the honorable mention goes to Bosingwa. He played excellent defense and made a lot of good runs up the right side. Sort of a Zhirkov-esque role maybe?
