Olympique Lyonnais (FRA) v RSC Anderlecht (BEL)

Celtic FC (SCO) v Arsenal FC (ENG)

FC TimiÅŸoara (ROU) v VfB Stuttgart (GER)

Sporting Clube de Portugal (POR) v ACF Fiorentina (ITA)

Panathinaikos FC (GRE) v Club Atlético de Madrid (ESP)

Should be some good games to watch there :steaming:

And of course, Levski vs Debrecen (Hungary). We have a mighty good chance to get into the groups. Keep your fingers crossed my two teams are in the same group again, so I can finally see Chelsea live.

really wanted to see arsenal draw athletico, heres hoping celtic do the job anyway

balls to that, come on arsenal!!

balls to that, come on arsenal!!

Yep, id actually second that!!

why do u want arsenal in? screw that id rather they are gracing the europa league

Lesser of two, very evil evils.

Sporting v Fiorentina could be a tough draw too.

Not based on Sporting's previous two games. They were extremely lucky to make it to where they are (a 94 min goal from a goalkeeper header).

Id rather Celtic win - with them you know its a wasted place - 2 birds with one stone

agree with this. you pretty much know celtic wont get past the first league of games, arsenal will be a threat towards the end. plus it will be brilliant to rip the piss out of arsenal...

I saw the clip of that, and I felt sorry indeed for Twente.

however, Sporting could use the momentium perhaps? Id at least give them a better shot at an upset than I would Celtic

Absolutely - this is a Chelsea forum, why on Earth is anyone supporting Celtic over ANYONE. FFS come on the Gooners

Thirded! :D

4th 5th 6th 7th whatever it takes - didn't see this after I was floored at seeing someone actually wanting Celtic to win here. Come on guys, Arsenal are no threat to us anywhere and from a historical club perspective do you really want fans who glorify in sending British troops home in body bags gracing any competition. Do you want fans singing IRA songs representing Britain, do you want a club who purposely ignore Armistice Day representing a country at war and if all else fails two words - Bellamy and Wright, I would happily see Arsenal beat Celtic - in case you were confused

Just in case there was any doubt - it is a well known fact (they sing it often enough) that Celtic hate all things British, related to British Army, Army veterans, Chelsea, blue, not connected to Ireland, religion, anything related to the Union Flag. Fair enough I am also a Rangers supporter and there is obvious affinity between the two clubs however that aside I cannot fathom how any one who FULLY supports Chelsea can have anyhting to do with Celtic

ok well im a younger supporter just being 19 and have lived in NZ for the last 9 years so was not aware of all of this history, when i was prefering celtic to make it over arsenal was purely going on my own experiences and knowledge and from a footballing perspective. Thanks for all the info

No probs Sals, and glad to give you my humble opinion. From a purely and sanitised football perspective then you;re right, it would be better if Arsenal went out because theyre the better team but from a 'global' football perspective I cannot physically contain myself at the thought of Celtic being in the same league as my beloved Chelsea. They do have an Aussie playing and scoring for them if you need an excuse to hate them - if thats not enough do let me know - all the best mate
