I thought you were making reference to something that had happened in todays match.

I didnt see him do anything funny. Got a diagonal ball, waited out about three defenders as he controlled it, and just smashed it through the keepers legs. But yeah, he is a little crazy.

Anyway, at Goodison, Arsenal are already up 0-3 before halftime. Everton have pretty much played the game at their pace and dictated things, but have no cutting edge. Meanwhile, theyve given up two off fk's with some Scolariesque marking

Bentdner is actually having a good game. Commence the usual early season media w**kathon about the gooners

Everton's defending has been unusually shocking. They really do miss Arteta for that cutting edge bit of skill and they miss Yakubu, who (for all his laziness) scores goals.

0-5 and counting, Monkeyheid must be sh*tting himself already

Definitely. They were moribund in attack.

Its now 5-0. Fabregas received an Alumunia throw on the halfway line, ran unchallenged to the 18, and smacked the ball in the corner. Unchallenged is actually being generous to the Everton defense. It was so easy it looked like practice.

The Arsenal hype machine is going to be in fecking overdrive tomorrow

To be fair, though, the hype machine was in full swing when we put 4 past Pompey last season against similarly hapless defending. It's just how the press goes.

The Arse do look foookin Awsome,i heard big nose thompson completely dismiss Arse chances,"thick scouse twat" he is" on Sky sports today.

True, but that was more a one off. Brazilian coach, new players and system, and an absolute riot at home.

Arsenal on the other hand experience this hyping annually now. Except its usually seen during Cup wins over teams like Derby and Cardiff around late September and early October

Jesus, it's 6-0 now.

Wait, 6-1, consolation goal from Saha. B) :D

You know Arsenal can beat anyone on their day, but they can also be beaten by anyone. I do expect them to whomp Celtic on Tuesday, though.

Celtic will trip them up.

Arsenal do look quite good, the best side so far. But we'll see how that holds.

Celtic will have to trip them up and try every other cheat they know - theyre on a different footballing planet though

Beating Aberdeen 3-1 is not quite the same as beating Everton 6- 1 at home

Aberdeen were humped 8-1 on aggregate by a relatively unknown side. Scottish football is shocking - there are NO teams in Scotland that could hack the Championship never mind the EPL

What if the Rangers played them? Would you be singing a different tune?

Celtic has a decent side. Anything can happen in football.

No I wouldn't - Rangers would get humped as much as Celtic. Rangers and Celtic are light years behind the EPL and certainly the CL. Celtic have adecent side ?? Is this the side that have won away once in YEARS of CL and never in the league or knockout stages, they couldn't beat Hibs or Hearts to retain the league and are set to lose Hinkel and Brown after the Arsenal mauling. They won the diddy cup in Scotlad last year and that was it. Trust me Celtic and Rangers are iffy Championship teams at a push but competing against EPL teams, seria A, La Liga etc etc teams ??. Anything can happen in football but ffs...

Evertons defence was at fault for every goal, even the 1st goal by denilson who wasnt closed down quickly enough. Complete and utter garbage ! Made the Arseoles look better than they are.

totally agree with that. every goal could have been defended better, i guarantee they wont get that kind of space and help from celtic. it wont stop the media having a mass w**k over the super duper arsenal youngsters though.

Really..what Scottish football do you watch, ok I'm a Rangers fan but come on, Rangers and Celtic both stuttered to a close finale last year not over who was the better team but who was the worse. With the exception on N'Gomo, Bougherra, Fortune, Fox, Boyd and Thomson there is not a player between in either team that can play worth anything at a higher level than they are at.

Celtic have already struck deals to offset their speculative buying with Brown and Hinkel on their way out at overinflated prices. In comparison Scottish football is utter pish when you hold it up to any scrutiny. It is on its way to terminal decline. We keep kidding ourselves on we can compete in England or Europe. To be brutally honest, even to myself, all we can achieve is filling a decent sized stadium with deluded fans who think that because we come 1st or 2nd in a two donkey race then we;re World or at least Europe beaters. The home crowd at Ibrox or Parkhead invariably outnumbers the cumalative total for the rest of the SPL, first, second and third divisions. Different league, different planet and definitely a different ball game.
