franks goal last night took him 132 goals for chelsea, joint 5th of our all time top scorers with jimmy greaves. for a midfielder that is an incredible achievement and its going to be interesting to see how many he ends with. bentley and ossie are enxt on 150 so that definately achievable for him. bravo frankie lamps.....

I've got that photo on my wall... how teenagery of me.

Congratulations Frankilicious, a legend.

For a striker, his goalscoring record (132 from 429, goal ratio 0.31) would be excellent, for a midfielder it's incredible.

To put things in perspective, not only is he now level with Greavsie, but he's only 18 goals of Ossie and Roy Bentley, both of whom scored 150 goals for the club, and who in turn are 52 short of Bobby Tambling in first place, on 202.

I think it's safe to say he'll overtake Ossie and Roy Bentley. But would you bet against him equalling or bettering Bobby Tambling's record? Because I wouldn't!

SUPER FRANKIE LAMPARD

Even more incredible is he's scored 100 goals in his last five seasons, that's a strike rate many forwards would kill for. I think he can pass 150, but whether he can beat the overall record depends on how long he maintain this level in his mid-30s.

On another note, will anyone ever surpass Ron Harris' 795 appearances for us? I have a feeling that one will never be bettered...

I am trying to think of a sticker, playing today in owrld football who consistently has 20 goals a season on average over the last 5/6 years. I can't think of one ? Forlan maybe ?

It’s incredible :)

I said in another thread that there is no way we can't think of Frank as a legend in the making, he's already breaking records set by other legends. Despite the talk of him possibly moving to Inter, and remember todays game is a different kettle of fish than what it ever was, I still think he should be seen as a future Legend

Legend for me already. He was the reason I started following Chelsea in the first place and now both make a big chunk of my heart. Well done Super Frankie.

As far as him breaking more goal scoring records is concerned, I think he will go well past the 150 mark for sure.

:)

I remember when we signed him from Hammers, my dad said he'd never make it as a Chelsea player, he didn't graft enough.

My dad's been eating his words for about 5 years now? :)

Hell, if he keeps up this 20 goal a season stuff, he'll beat them both this season too!

SUPER SUPER FRANK SUPER SUPER FRANK SUPER SUPER FRANK SUPER FRANKIE LAMPARD!!

And to the mis-guided they compare Lamps to "Scousen Gerrard",he'd be my first name on both Chelsea and Englands team sheet.

He will go on to be Legend status ,at the moment he is just Phenomenal, and a Midfielder goal scorer par excellence.
