August 8, 201015 yr Toy story 3 , Pixar at it's brilliant best. Rise of the footsoldier...Cracking. haven't seen any of the Toy Story movies but watched Rise Of The Footsoldier not so long ago, and it's definitely one of the best gangster movies ever. unforgettable and unmissable.
August 8, 201015 yr Just got in from "Dinner For Schmucks!" Not bad at all, touching and funny, overall quite enjoyable
August 8, 201015 yr Not a film but I have just finished watching Russel T. Davies's 'The Second Coming' which was made in 2003 and starred Christopher Eccleston and Lesley Sharp. I watched it when it was first on television but hadn't seen it since. Russel T. Davies is one of the most talented writers around just now and TV would be a much better place if there was more from the likes of him and a lot less of the sh*te that has forged careers for a multitude of partially talented soap opera actors. Not only is it worth watching purely for what it contains but also because its main critics were a blinkered religous half wits who refused to accept the idea that the son of God could be an ordinary punter with limited intellect and who didn't give a toss where you want to put your willy! As a huge fan of Queer As Folk I have to agree with you about Russel T. Davies
August 9, 201015 yr Karate Kid - God, I should never have watched that crap, so predictable and done a million times..
August 9, 201015 yr Inception. I didn't get everything, but still a highly entertaining movie with plenty of twist. Karate kid was just awful. Even the title is wrong, traditional Chinese don't practice Karate, they do Kong fu! Edited August 9, 201015 yr by icecoolguy22
August 9, 201015 yr Up to the first adverts in Saw 2 - can't comment yet, other than different writer/director team and it shows - seems to be toned down from Saw so far - I'll keep you all posted. Edited August 9, 201015 yr by yorkleyblue
August 9, 201015 yr Watched K-PAX a couple of nights ago with friends. A charming psychological thriller starring the perennially outstanding Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. A very interesting idea which was reasonably well executed (although the end was botched to an extent) - I recommend it though.

I quite like Saw 2, but sadly it's downhill from there in the Saw-ga (Saw saga...never mind). It's a bit different.
August 9, 201015 yr Just watched The Devil and Daniel Johnston and it was fairly interesting. I already knew some things about him, but not the whole story. It's a pretty decent documentary that reminded me of "You're Gonna Miss Me"(the documentary about Roky Erickson), although I think it's not as good as "You're Gonna Miss Me". They're both worth watching.
August 10, 201015 yr I quite like Saw 2, but sadly it's downhill from there in the Saw-ga (Saw saga...never mind). It's a bit different. HA, Saw-ga! I like that, have a sweetie! Any road up, finished Saw 2, and I wasn't that happy with it :( Seemed to be running out of ideas very early on. Not sure I'll even bother with Saw 3. Ho-hum!
August 10, 201015 yr Saw 25th Hour last night - it had its moments, but was certainly lacking something...

Have to quote this post again to thank you for letting me know about "The Secong Coming". Watched it on youtube a couple of days ago and I have to say that it was really good and also very interesting.
August 11, 201015 yr Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. One of the better adaptations if you ask me. Currently watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Going through the series in all the wrong order!
August 11, 201015 yr I thought you claimed to be some sort of adult! Legally, I'm not! :D Though I have to own up to seeing quite a number of films that are above my own age!
August 11, 201015 yr hmmmmm and now you are regaling us with tales of kiddy films! What will be next, Peppa Pig Does Dallas? Bob the Builder 3 in 3D (Can We Fix It, No It's f**ked)? Torture-porn in the Night Garden? jeeezus, almost adults and their Harold twatting Potter!

To be fair, Harold's adventures have got a very high number of adult followers - most of them have kids themselves, but nevertheless! They do like Harry Potter!
August 11, 201015 yr OR, to be "fair" there are a lot of sad f**ks who get taken up by the hype. I give you Dan Brown, your honour!
August 11, 201015 yr OR, to be "fair" there are a lot of sad f**ks who get taken up by the hype. I give you Dan Brown, your honour! Fair point, but having grown up with the book (I read the first one when I was 5), am I a "sad f**k", too? I agree about Dan Brown though, what a tool. Even after I read Angels and Demons, which everyone adored, I hated it. The Da Vinci Code, though it had quite a good idea behind it, was a stinker. Haven't bothered with The Lost Symbol, heard it's the worst.
August 11, 201015 yr "Beats of freedom" and "Wszystko co kocham" --> "Everything what I love" Both films are about Polish punk rock.
