As a linguist, I can tell you the cockatiel is screeching "Let me out of this f**king cage!"

Every now and again I like to select an album or a band that I haven't listened to for a long time and spend the best part of an evening reacquainting myself with them. Tonight it is the turn of the Housemartins and it was sparked by hearing this classic for the first time for many a moon.
