Your Dream player for Stamford Bridge

Featured Replies

Guys lets get a bit imaginative .

Share whom you would like to see as player at Stamford Bridge.

Not necessarily a current player or a young player.

It could be anyone whom you idolize or like his game.

Even if he is a Manure player , need not worry about that after all we have right to dream whatever we want.

I would start from myself.

My choice would be Gattuso or Maldini from AC Milan .

Both are like legends at Rosonnery but I have admired them for long time.

Maldini for his commitment towards Milan squad for almost 20-22 years ,he never switched teams and AC Milan like blood in veins of Maldini family with his son also playing for same team now.

And what to say about Gattuso. The Pit bull of Milan Midfield. He is so energetic and physical player rightly compared to a Bull :) . I can just imagine his roars and tackles happening at Bridge against some strong opponent like Gunners or Manure.

So please get innovative and share your feelings about same.

At the moment all my dream players are playing for Chelsea. With the exception o Obi Mikel I think we have got one awesome team. Lionel Mesi would be the only player I'd be happy to see come into the team.

A player with the speed of Lampard, the finishing of Ballack, the agility of Belletti and the work ethic of Anelka.

That would be really a Dream player who can exist only in dreams.

You are speaking about GOD,aren't you :)?

Player I would have liked to see in a Chelsea shirt would have been Pavel Nedved. I'd love to have seen him play for us when he was in his prime. I think he would have fit Premiership perfectly. If we didn't have Cech, I'd love to see Igor Akinfeev at Chelsea. I'm pretty happy with the team we've got at the moment. Especially if some of the youngsters can step up in a year or two(or three). I could name several players that could strengthen our squad, but there's not any single player that I'd prefer over the others.

i would have loved fat ron at chelsea

i would put forward an argument for him being the best of all time

that boy messi is a bit special though - may run him close in the end

I'm sorry but I dont think you've linked the correcy skill to each player.

Lampard and speed is not a lionk that automatically springs to mind, like wise with Ballack and finishing, Belletti and agility and Anelka and work Ethic.

I think the player you have described does all ready exist........ John Carew.

I'd love to see SWP given another chance

Even Man City...his chosen team isn't giving him start in their matches ...why should we ::ChELSeAFaN:: ??

Genuinley? Rudd Gullit for me. I worshiped him from afar till he joined us, the most gifted all round footballer I've ever seen - even to this day. He could do everything and in his prime he wasunplayable. I still have the 14 newspapers I bought from the day he signed for us!

A jaw dropping moment when the dreadlocked one signed for us. I didn't believe it until I seen a picture of Hoddle and Ruud holding up a Chelsea shirt between them. A fabulous day for Chelsea fans.

Agree about Gullit .

To me the most naturally gifted footballer I have seen at Chelsea was Laudrup ………….he just couldn’t be bothered to use his god given talent

Always really pissed me off that one, I was made up when we signed him as he was an incredible player. Twat though. For me it would either be fat Ronaldo in his pomp, quite possibly the best goalscorer ever to play the game. Or as a defender i would love to have seen Maldini play in blue for us, a pairing of Maldini and the Rock would have been lovely.

me too Barn - I still have an AC Gullit 10 and a Holland Gullit 10 shirt as well as a CFC Gullit Shirt - for me, one of the most complete footballers ever when he was in his prime. The Gullit, Rijkard, VanBasten grouping gave me some of the most exciting football ever, until the last few games of this season ::ChELSeAFaN::

Other people have said Maldini, and I can't argue with that, but one of my other personal favourites was Franco Baresi!
