Out of interest what is the main grip here, the fact that he cheeted on his missus who is supposedly supper hot (if a little bit stupid) or the fact he paid 800 pound for a prostitute.

Personly dont really see why he shoud be villafied with regards to either. Sure he has some questions to answer to his other half and if she chooses to fcuk him of then he's only got him self to blame but he made the desition and will live with it.

People are cheat on there partners in all walks of life for all kinds of reason, some have unhappy relationships that they dont feel they can get out of, some just arnt ready to settle down, others need variaty in there lives to make there marriges work. Well, most people who are caught, I know there is loads of people buying sex without even getting noticed but as this is pure evidence of him doing so I thought his life would become a bit of a living hell, but as its not illegal in Spain nothing will happen to him.

If a footballer was to be imprisoned for paying for sex it would be the exact opposite of cases where celebrities appear to get away with crimes purely because they are famous. i.e. he would be being punished comfortably above and beyond the punishment dished out to a punter on the street for committing the same offence (just as Hugh Grant was). if the police wanted to arrest people for paying for sex then all they need to do is jump in their cars in just about any major city in the world and take a cruise down the streets that any local person knows is where prostitutes can be found.

In addition the evidence doesn't appear to be exactly water tight!

Barak, you raise a valid point, and one which I whole-heartedly agree with. I hope for Peter Crouch's sake that the media swiftly drop this story and leave him alone to face his pissed off missus and deal with the consequences of his own stupidity, however, there's a part of me that also wants the media to continue with the precedent they set in the way they have handled the similar actions of JT/Ashley.
