Posted November 12, 201014 yr just watched carlo's presser on the web...he's done his abductor again and will be out for another 2-3 weeks...bollox...expecially as essien is suspended for three games...by the way he said little about ray, apart from what a good job he did
November 12, 201014 yr Author just to show i'm not winding u up...now confirmed on web: http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2217751,00.html
November 12, 201014 yr Every two weeks, its another two weeks. I cant believe its a freak occurrence. Just wonder if there is something going on we are not party to now, im getting a little concerned. Not as concerned as i am about our midfield 3 for the next three games though...
November 12, 201014 yr So Mikel, Ramires and Zhirkov the midfield 3 for a few weeks? Is it possible we'll see Josh start over that period? I suppose Malouda could drop back into midfield.
November 12, 201014 yr That tackle from Essien really was bloody stupid. Leaves us with two senior midfielders, one leftback/wing and a 17-year old boy against the likes of Newcastle and Birmingham away and Sunderland. Some prayers should be sent to the bloke above so we can keep Mikel fit at least. If we should loose him with injury/suspension now we are in huge trouble.
November 12, 201014 yr What the hell is happening to Lampard's body? He went from being the most durable player in the league to Hargreaves' clone. Makes Essien rash challenge even more costly.
November 12, 201014 yr And the hits just keep onnnnnn coming. sh*t news. Back to the same midfield we had at Binfield? I would rather Yuri or Ramires was replaced in the three by Malouda, and we put Sturridge or Kalou out wide out front. But thats just me
November 12, 201014 yr So that's Lampard still out, Essien out, Alex out, Bosingwa still not fully fit, Drogba getting over the effects of a bout of malaria ... not getting any easier, is it.
November 12, 201014 yr Am i the only one thinking we might have seen the last of Lampard this season? Suffering from one injury to the next, and i would rather want him to be totally fit next season than rushing him back now and risk him beeing haunted by injuries for the rest of his career. Still only 32 years old mind. Super Frank Lampard will be back, but i have a feeling we will have to wait till next season.
November 12, 201014 yr F*ck f*ck f*ck. This is bad news and (as everyone else has said) makes Essien's foolish actions on Wednesday even more damaging. Hopefully Ramires returns to his Arsenal form pretty damn quickly.
November 12, 201014 yr I'm blaming Christine Bleakley. What has she been doing to our Frank? (no need to answer that) Let our Frank recover woman :D On a serious note I can see a story coming out in the next couple weeks going something along the lines of 'Lampard goes to see specialist as he faces lenghty layoff'. Hopefully it won't come to that, but it appears there is more to this.
November 12, 201014 yr lol serously ppl yes bad to lose frank and we r weak in mid for a bit but lets not worry about frank and as some have done wrap him up for next season htease things happen let young josh have a pop start the lad
November 12, 201014 yr I have confidence that our squad can carry us through the next number of matches in good shape. They are difficult fixtures but could have been worst. This will give others like Yuri and Ramires an opportunity to stand up to the plate. It's the forward line which is bothering me more at the moment and we are really missing Lamps goals when the forwards have dried up a bit. Maybe a good opportunity for Josh to get some extra playing time, as from what I have seen so far I don't think he will look out of place. The positive thing to come out of Lamps Injury and Essiens absense is the fact that they will both hopefully be back fresh and up for it during the holiday period when we have many difficult matches over a short period.
November 12, 201014 yr bad = lamps' age and amount of games played finally turning up to debilitate his season? good = yuri is really growing into the team and is showing lots of promise and mikel gets more responsibility which can only be good for our hard-fought signing lol just to think last year we had an embarrassment of riches in midfield and now we are struggling to fill places! lols, etc. hope ramires adapts quickly! seems to be ok so far.. November 12, 201014 yr what pity !!! so we need to play without him right now , Essien and Alex will not play the next game omg and drogba is not ready 100 % but he should play . maybe Ancelotti have to line up ramires ( is lucky guy ) or put Malouda and Zhirkov in half and push kalou for malouda's position . "troubles does not come alone"
November 12, 201014 yr This is starting to look like the Essien incident last season. "Just another month...", "just another month..." From now on I will expect Lamps to be out for the rest of the season.
November 13, 201014 yr As long as he is back for the start of December and our tough run of games, I'll be happy. A positive to come from this and Essien's suspension is that we can get a real look at Ramires' progress over a few games in a row. Secondly as others have said Josh might get his first start. It's possible and the team used to played without him and often got 3 point our half missed him
