Sorry to question you mate, but are you sure this was 1990? I was just thinking back to that game after reading Cathys blog about it, and my memory was walking in to their side of the Clock End after KO, and through the OB line to our bit having fired some abuse at a couple of Gooners on the way through. My memory is that it was an open end still and I can't remember the corporate boxes being there yet, but I stand to be corrected.

Yeah its def 90 mate, if you look at the clock its 4.45 just about ft, Chelsea fans look like we're celebrating, something we never got the chance to do at Highbury back then, we didnt win at Arsenal in the league again after 90 until 05/06.

That 90 game i remember us getting taken out on the far side to the left as you look at the pitch on to the Gillerspie rd, while going along the concourse we saw Colin Pates who was then an Arsenal player, word was he'd been in our end but i cant see that being true, anyway his name was chanted over & over with Pates looking embarrissed.

Yeah I'm sure you're right. Good work with the clock Shrelock ;) My bet was on the game when we were 2-0 up and lost 3-2. Definitely corporate boxes up by then because I was under them. For the Bumstead game I was about as near to the camera in that photo as possible on our side of the fence.

More of an anarak than a sherlock lol!

That 3.2 game we were in their north bank, Two years running in 91/92/92/93 CFC had loads in the north bank, f**k knows why but it was decided a week or so before, we got up the steps in the entrance on Avenell road & saw loads of faces we knew, once the teams were out the chant of Chelsea went up, we expected it to go but f**k all happened apart from gooners chanting at us from the middle of the north bank ect, ob put a corden around us & we stood there all game having a right laugh, there was a picture of Vinny Jones pointing up to us during the warm up & in the pic you can see a line of yellow ob jackets & a few hundred Chelsea behind em.

We lost there 3.2 & every time Arsenal scored on the game footage you can see Arsenal cheering & doing w**ker signs to their right towards us lol

Word was thats why Arsenal went in our east stand seats for the last game of the season, f@ck knows why they'd go up there if thats the case

it wernt exactly a hot bed of thugs up there .
