I got soaked! I was in the corner slightly up the floodlight base for a better view! Remember ‘we’ were in the seats at the side above their paddock. Looking at the picture above not many stayed after the trouble!

Mick Amer is his name! He was a steward for many years at the Bridge. He used to give me my money when I was a ball boy during all the school holidays. I was allowed to travel to the bridge when I started secondary school in 79. I did it up 1983 when I think they changed policy and used academy boys.
