Makita tournament 93 pretty sure it was live on ITV. I love Vialli's boots so much better than those things worn today. It's noticeable at the Euro's all the refs and backroom staff wear plain black and white boots/trainers.

Bluehaze: Agree with you re the black football boots. Both Mancini and Viallis in the picture you posted look, much better than the boots worn today.

Might be West Ham 84 or Leeds 83 only time I remember any trouble in the East Lower and Leeds was Chelsea v the old bill. Leeds away 83 great turnout all the Leeds behind the goal in Patrick cagoules which was in my opinion going casual on the cheap.

Use to get Reading results and action on our local news bulletins,  and this player always seemed to be scoring, and having the same first name as me  I use to pay special attention to him, when he signed for us when I was 14 and I was made up, he didn’t disappoint either, King Kerry

Good to hear from you @chi blue not going to lie I do get a bit concerned when blokes of our vintage stop posting on the vintage 😁. Here's something that you'll laugh at I get a lot of emails from clothes companies usually during the sales most of them I delete before looking at them. But during lockdown boredom I've looked at them and not going to lie mate I'm seriously thinking about buying a Fila BB tracksuit top. I then watched Gogglebox and saw Shaun Ryder wearing one and it looked good even on a massive oaf like him ha ha.

Not sure of the year early to mid 60's probably.

Ha Ha, I knew would come round to it Bluehaze, if the weather is a bit nippy on August 14th for Palace home, I’ve already got my  Sergio Tachini Dallas tracksuit top ready!! Problem is nearer time I might switch to my Fula Settanta or Sergio Ghilbi, decisions decisions
