I'll probably just get FC4 as soon as I complete FC3 anyway. I love open world-games like FC, Skyrim and GTA. 

 

The bigger the map the better for me. I wonder which game has the biggest map ever. 

 

Me too. Skyrim; oh my god. Never played anything like it. MASSIVE! Surely the biggest? I kept meaning to review it but I kept discovering more and more as i played it. Before I knew what was happening I had logged nearly 200 hours playing it and it was about 6 months too late to bother reviewing.

So just completed a mission on Far Cry 4 called "The Sleeping Saints". Has anyone played it? What a frustrating and crazy level that is. I swear it took about 30 times to complete it..I was getting so angry. Glad it's all over.

Yeah that one took me about 8 attempts! That helicopter showing up, so many people to kill, was very frustrating!

Yeah that one took me about 8 attempts! That helicopter showing up, so many people to kill, was very frustrating!

The whole mission is frustrating. The second part with sniper in the corner is the most frustrating. I ended up using a grenade launcher to kill him.

Traded in FIFA 15 today and with the store credit I already had for trading in Far Cry 4 I've picked up a copy of CoD: Advanced Warfare. 

 

I've not played CoD for a couple of years now and wasn't particularly interested in this when it was released but seeing as there is a bit of a drought of new releases until the new year I thought it might give me something to keep me interested until then. 

 

I'm pretty decent at online FPS games, I generally hold my own so I'm interested to see I get on with this one. 

A mate of mine brought thenew CoD round a couple nights ago. Its good, but weird. Doesn't feel like a CoD game.

Far Cry 4 was £24 on Amazon down from £40.

 

I caved quickly.

Plenty of games are cheap actually at the moment if anyone's interested. Loads of new games are about £15-20 cheaper than their RRP.

Really? May have a butchers next week. Hoping to pick up GTA 5 again on the cheap.

Game have got the Crew on sale for £30 which is cheap considering it only came out 2 weeks ago.

I know the game was riddled with bugs on launch, but did anyone buy Assassin's Creed Unity? Putting all the launch problems aside, is it still a good game? It's all patched now and I am thinking of getting it after Christmas.

From what I read it's same old, same old with Assassin's Creed despite being the first in the series on the new consoles there isn't anything particularly new with regards to the game, just the climbing is a bit smoother especially coming down buildings. 

 

Might be worth a play through if you can pick it up for a reduced price but I get the impression it's not worth going out of your way to play it.

Thanks. I'm a big fan of the AC games, despite the criticism.

 

AC 3 was a bit sh*t but all the rest have been great fun, especially Black Flag. I'm not referring to Revelations or Brotherhood or any of the other add-ons- never played them. I don't expect anything new from Unity but I like the look of the setting.

I'm sure you will all be delighted to know that I finally have an Xbone   It's so quiet!!
