Torres, big gamble but if he kicks off from the start I could see it happening.

Can see Nani grab this one, on the other hand Aguero and our own David Luiz are in with a big shot, but still Nani for me.

Could see David Luiz take this one, expecting a big season from him with 8-10 goals in the bag as well.

Ramires, had a brilliant end to the season and I think he will just become better and better, can see him bag a few goals this time around!

Malouda, on the other hand he tends to grow under new managers like we saw with Guus so dont really know where we have him, could go either way but still Malouda for me.

Torres, as I have him for the BPL top scorer.

Sturridge, dont get me wrong but I just think this is a big season for him, finally (hopefully) he looks to get his chance to shine and judging on his performances in the pre-season we could have our hands on the next big thing. Lukaku and Romeu and new potential signings will obviously be exciting as well.

McEachran will hopefully get his chances as well, potential to be world class as we all know.

Maybe a bit of both. Although after seeing torres yesterday i fear i may have to eat my words. He looked sharpe yesterday.

Bosingwa, Its quite clear that he has great ability, we all saw it in his first season at the club but everytime he gets the ball i think he is about to lose it and when he does manage to get into a crossing position sends in woeful crosses

I've stood by torres throughout his time at chelsea so far, as have other members ie hutch, and said how it would be pointless to write him off from just last season. Many people on here believed/believe that he has lost it and would fail.

Its good to see his performance being recognised by many of those who had little faith in him. He had a great start to the season! However I'm not one who believed he had lost it or had it, I'm just waiting to see how he does this year. Although a great performance I hope to see that on a consistent basis, he looked better than he did at times at liverpool yesterday. Instead on a out and out goal scorer he drove into the box, brought people into play and he went past players. It swas a great sight and I hope he continues, and makes that cf place his.

I would say the vast majority of people on the forum had faith that torres would come good, this isnt a new revelation after the stoke match by any means. The media on the other hand... read so much praise for torres after the last game which is a very refreshing change
