Call me mad, but given our decent relationship between ourselves and Barcelona, what about

a cheeky bid for Pedro ?

Having just signed Fabregas and the previously signed Sanchez could he be available ?

I have watched the re-run of the Stoke game, without the passion of watching it 'live' and I

maintain there are positives to be taken from the game.

However, given a Duff or Robben in his prime, genuine assistance from his front line colleagues,

or a Gianfranco Zola, Fernando Torres on that sort of form would have bagged a hat-rick.

Malouda and Kalou wouldn't get into Man City's or Man Utd's squad, neither would improve them

in any shape or form.

Daniel Sturridge however would, make no mistake the right wing berth will be his on return.

We need a real Winger, someone that can hug the line, stretch play, that man maybe is

Gareth Bale in an ideal world, but Pedro could be a viable option.

Werent we linked last January transfer window with Pedro? Hes an excellent player, though not really a winger in the same way Malouda isnt. He would be a brilliant addition to our squad though, but I cant see him leaving Barcelona just yet.

I think Pedro is more direct than what we need to compliment our other attacking options, although he is a very good player.

If you consider how direct Sturridge is, and our central striker being one of Torres, Drogba or Lukaku, we need someone to act more as a creator than running at goal like Pedro would. This might just be me who thinks this, but I don't think it would work.

With the Robben and Duff set up, Robben was the direct one, who much like Sturridge is a little selfish at times, but very good at opening sides up; with Duff playing as more of a creator. Cole helped take this role too.

Not that I have a suggestion as to who would be right, but it's easier to pick things apart than to suggest, and I like the easy life.

I'd be disgusted if we signed him. Cheatings a part of football these days but he's as bad as Cristiano Ronaldo was. I wouldn't mind us putting in a bid for Mario Gotze at Dortmund though

I agree - and if not Pedro some one that can go round defenders and put in decent crosses. Ashley Young - oh s**t hes's taken.

Malouda & Kalou are subs at best, scored a fair few prem goals between them last year but if they left I wouldnt miss either one. Sturridge & Lukaku may introduce that much needed 'something different ' in CFC attacking play, but they also seem to be central playing strikers not wide playmakers. Let's face it since Robben left the team has been lacking that creative fast player that pulled it off despite, Deco never made the grade and Lampard has been carrying the team with his 20 goals a year which didnt happen last year and nought was won.

2 more midfield players defo needed. I know Redknap would sell LM tomorrow, but I think Levy will wait until the lst minute and try and extract 40 mill from RA.

The way he cheated last season against RM I wouldn't take him for free. Such a cheating little rat. I'd hate to see him here. He reeks of self-indulgent Barca-world, something I hate the most in the football these days.

In addition to the reasons already mentioned, they are never going to ship him. They sold Bojan, and yet put another series of buybacks in there because they are so paranoid about losing their own talent.

Besides, look at Romeu. He was here five minutes before he started talking about how he wanted to return one day. Buying their players you know what is going to happen if they come good.

People act like Chelsea players don't cheat.

Lampard pretty much dived for a peno against Stoke.

Oh I don't think anyone would say that Chelsea players never cheat. After all, we saw Drogba diving for a few seasons when he arrived and we've had other players who have taken a dive or two as well.

Lampards dive against Stoke was bad. Especially since there was a leg there, so if he'd only continued running instead of just falling over he would have been properly fouled and maybe the ref would have given the penalty there.

Anyway, even though we have seen Chelsea players taking a dive every now and then, we are nothing compared to Barcelona. They are just embarrasing.

There is no way Pedro will be leaving Barca anytime soon, and if he somehow did, it would be just like the Bojan deal that Roma got stuck with, except probably worse.

Dont want him .. Not only is he not the creator that we need at the left wing but also he is a cheating, diving c**t and one of the Barca players I hate the most. Oh and even if Barca would let him go the deal would include a re-buy option.

No thanks

Good points all , just that he has a 80m pounds release clause at barca.

As ridiculous as it sounds fabregas has a 200 m euro release clause as well.

Talented as he is, like with Thomas Mueller he would only be a potentially better version of Malouda, and as we already have Sturridge who plays a similar style, there's no point in signing yet another.

On the same vid, from the same match two players I'd never want to see wearing blue. That is just so embarrassing.

I agree... its just shocking. Not only this diving/acting bullsh*t but also how those barca scumbags surround the ref after every decision and always get away with it. Oh and the Pedro dive was the worst of all, just pathetic
