Featured Replies

I don't know, just call it a hunch. Man even the celeb mags in teh states are claiming that it would have been Posh who decided where to go!

Back page of the Times says Beckham will be on ?75,000 a day.

Just say that to yourselves again................?75,000 a DAY

And I'm thinking things are getting out of hand when players are on ?100k a week icon_eek.gif

Just complete utter madnees.

You can't blame him for going but to say he wants footie to take off more in the States is a load of cr**. His wife wears the trousers, he wears the sarong - end of. icon_wink.gif

the deal is reported to be WORTH $250 million. Now that is in wages and Endorsements, not just wages. Either way it is huge

Weren't they supposed to have a wagecap in American sports? icon_eek.gif

Or maybe they do and Becks is just getting his signing on fee paid in monthly installments. icon_lol.gif

Looks like he is going to have plenty of time to do some house hunting!

Anyone expect to see him do a 6 month stint in ENgland?

Personally I think he should take the opportunity to prepare himself for the MLS season and make sure he is there for the April kick off. He is being rewarded handsomely for being there so should show a willingness to bend over backwards to meet expectations.

cappello said he wont play for madrid again, abit harsh in my opinion they should just release him from his contract and give him time to settle in america has from what i gather hes going to be thrown straight into the start of the MLS season when european clubs are taking their summer breaks'

6 months. That should be enough time for him to make a movie.

You heard it from me first icon_wink.gif

If only he was signed to the crew...*sighs*

I personally think that's A LOT of money but I do think it's going to be a huge boost to MLS over here. I know I'm going to the game when he plays Columbus. icon_lol.gificon_wink.gif

to Boo him loudly, I trust.

honestly though I am reserved as to how much he will promote the MLS, and not just himself
