We were lucky,but we deserved it,we have been in the final before where they were lucky,plus semi-finals where our luck ran out.

Sure we were luckier than some other teams which have won the CL in the past, but try to think of all the times we were unlucky or even robbed.

Considering all the sh*t we've been through, we fully deserved that luck. Thank goodness it eventually paid off. What a relief.

Literally every team that has ever won the Champions League has rode their luck at times. It's an intrinsic part of knockout football. Whilst the haters say that luck was the main factor in us winning it last year, by that same token, luck was also the main reason we hadn't won it beforehand.

I don't give a flying fart if we did ride our luck and we did - would the detractors have sympathised with us if we were the better side and had lost? Would they f**k, they would have ridiculed us for "bottling it".

Haha that just tipifies the average united fan. Blind with arrogance. Saying that they're lucky would be a compliment, they don't need luck they have the help of the refs and are generally in favour. Btw John Terry's slip in Moscow was not unlucky.

Having seen the Barca 2-2 game many times now I'm more and more convinced we totally deserved it. We created 2 through balls and buried both with such class Barca should take both finishes to their daily training. They had about 8 good shots to Cech who was absolutely brilliant all game. Remember with Jose when we had games where we shot 10-15 times per game and won 1-0. You still need to make the hardest thing in football; score the goal.

Well said people. Our luck prior to last season's CL campaign was tainted with horrendous luck. Garcia's ghost goal (although we did play badly in both legs) in 05, Del Horno's harsh red card when we were 1 up vs Barca the following season, the 2007 penalty shoot-out loss to Liverpool....Terry's slip in Moscow...and then of course the turned downed penalty appeals and subsequent Iniesta wonder goal in 09. Those teams were stronger than the one which won it.
