Well done bluedrake55. We have been letting off steam here over the past week so time for a pause and a salute to Dave Sexton, the manager who brought us the 1970 FA Cup - the equivalent of today's CL.

Club Legend, RIP and thankyou for what you did for the club.

Very good coach and would be great in today's setup, but perhaps not a top manager as he had a number of fallouts, notably ossie and buddy. He had new ideas, liked defenders who could pass and classy midfielders, but also knew he needed some graft and toughness.

Very well respected in football circles, and a sad loss

One of my best memories ever in my 47yrs of supporting the Chels

I remember my brother and I speaking to him a few times under the old east stand after matches. Very approachable man who always had time for a quick chat with supporters and would never refuse a request for autographs or a photo with fans.

A true gentleman and one of our best managers. My condolences to his family.
