If neither Mourinho nor Hiddink return, I honestly wouldn't mind Heynckes for the short term.

Old Jupp would be my first choice for the chelsea post. Don't place to much faith in Mourinho back at the club. Aside from his outrageous demands, I am sure he will dismantle our youth system with most never getting a look in the first team due to his inordinate desire to win at all cost.

I thought he was retiring, which is why they are getting Guardiola in? Would have been really harsh to get him in otherwise!

He's a solid manager, but he's not Jose, he's not Guus, he's not Klopp, he's not Capello, etc...

 

If none of those guys are available, we could do worse, I suppose.

Callejon is 26 as well. To be fair he has done a brilliant job bringing Varane through. 

 

As far as Heynckes goes if Jose isn't returning he would be a very good option. Short term but we could do a lot worse.
