Made my week this article!  I would give a weeks wages to any reporter who grills Wenger on this next press conference ( Cesc also has more assists for CFC than Ozil has for Arsenal since he joined them LOL).  Amazing to see that wheelchair Jack averages something like 3 assists or less as season.  How was this guy ever hyped up so much?  Because Xavi complimented him once?
 
Shows how fickle we (I) can be that I like Cesc so much now but had nothing but contempt (a lil admiration maybe hidden under it all) for him until he started performing (since day 1) for us.  Now he could end up being a CFC cult hero/legend.  Talk about a complete 180 !

Great point. I think the main reason they don't is because the West Stand is the newest stand. If the ground is redeveloped, this obviously won't be the case any more. Put them in the West Lower.

While they're at it they should give our Shed back fully to the home fans, stick the away fans in the West Stand.

I could never get tired of watching Chelsea play at Wembley, cup final or not.

I agree there was pressure for them to succeed, but in terms of pressure on the coach to play them, there wasn't so much as at the time chelsea weren't in the same position as they are now. In the current day, there's big expectations for us to win as much as possible, so less likely to risk playing youth players. I would like to see barker of all the youngsters make it, though. If we don't bring them through, they'll end up being snapped up by our rivals who will put faith in them.

This is either going to be a terrible signing or an incredible one. I'm still convinced Juan Mata is going nowhere but I can understand why people are getting slightly nervous about his future here. I have a suspicion that Manchester United are going reject our third bid for Wayne Rooney only to come back on deadline day and make an offer of a Rooney <> Mata swap.
 
Call it a hunch, I think that's how it will go down.
If it came to that I would refuse to let Mata go, sign Eto'o and use him as our backup after Torres and Lukaku.
 
No matter how much people may want Rooney here he is not worth us losing Mata to our biggest title competitor.
