Pulled off imgur, a few laughs especially in the details.

What it would be like if England WON the world cup!

People won’t quite be able to believe that England have done it.

But then the celebrations begin.

Some are completely lost for words

But a party mood grips the whole nation.

This gets a bit much for some people.

There will be demands for knighthoods for everybody on the England team.

Of course, not everybody is entirely happy. Scotland, for example.

Wales tries to hide.

Centuries-old national rivalries will be settled at last.

A special Roy Hodgson series of bank notes will be rushed into production.

And in the end, it changes the course of British history forever.

But we’ll always have 2014. And it’s not like we’ll still be going on about it almost half a century later…

Imagine what would happen if we actually got to the final?

Honestly, the country would come to a standstill, I could see the pubs charging money to get in, a bit like New Years Eve.

*Imagines all the street parties, and drinking*

My favourite was the David Cameron bit - let's all get twatted for the next four weeks.

And you know, it wouldn't be far off what would happen (not that we will ever find out)

Great Stuff Jonty!

I love it how even up to a month or so ago everyone was realistic and no-one expects England to do that well or perhaps even get out of the group. But now we are near kick-off, it's all "maybe we DO have a chance......" and this country and that country don't look quite as strong as first thought.

I suppose you have to go into a competition (especially The World Cup) and have some even the faintest hope of winning it otherwise we'd all be wasting our time and I am now actually looking forward to it.

COME ON EN-GER-LAND!!!
