Looks a handy player from the clips. Never seen him play, though. I do like a player who can use both feet as well.

Liked him when he was at Benfica, was quite highly rated. No idea what he's like now though, find it hard to believe he's developed to a high enough level over a year or so where he can play for teams like us.

 

If it's just for his potential then what's the point, we have players of our own for that.

Loads of rumours about this kid, never seen him play, but reports are promising. Big, quick, technical, great passing, strong tactically, sounds like mourinho's dream player. Sounds similar to matic, but ore of play maker.

3 big sticking points for me are the price being talked about 26-36m, seems very steep.

The fact he has only really had one season performing to this level.

If he does come, rlc won't see many minutes.

I can't really see us signing a young centre mid unless they are nearly the finished product. We have 4 senior options as it is.

Please no... Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah and Baker. Baker will be loaned next season I assume, but we got Chalobah and RLC.

I wouldn't mind it, seems like a good all-rounder and a step closer to 4-3-3 formation.

He has secured a place in the starting 11 for a team that is currently in third place, has beaten Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and was unlucky not to get a draw against Barcelona. I'd say he is more then ready to play for us, he also has all the right attributes to boss a midfield with his size, technical ability and speed.

Seems like a deeper midfield player that we have been crying out for.
